A huge pine tree looks quite out of place here. A closer inspection reveals what looks to be a large, craggy face embedded into the bark higher up. An odd assortment of branches and pine needles appear to fashion eyebrows and a mouth. Two enlarged pearls of sap appear to have hardened into something vaguely reminiscent of eyes. The tree looks quite healthy, it's pine needles a dark and lustrous green. Midway down its trunk, large limbs vee off, one growing spindly and more articulate while another grows thicker and rounded, almost like it holds a club in its hand. The trunk grows massive at its base, splitting into two massive thews covered in gnarled roots and knobs. There is a sense of the arcane about this tree, and the sap like eyes glitter with intelligence.
