Raikon's life was very much influenced by a single event that occured
very early in his life. His mother gave birth to him, alone in the
mountains, while wandering around. Unfortunately, she did not notice it
herself, and Raikon dropped about 5 feet to the rocky floor and landed on
his head.
For a while, he grew up like any other stone giant child, possibly a bit
behind the others, when it came to his own development. He didn't walk like
other giants. Instead, he found out that rolling worked quite well, and for
years he only moved by rolling around, doing a full stop to orient himself
and then roll in a new direction. It was quite effective but unfortunately
when he was in a bit of a hurry he didn't orient himself as often as he
probably should have, resulting in him rolling off the mountain on multiple
occasions.
Eventually he did however learn to walk and by then he had become quite
large and clumsy. By then, it was time for Raikon to find a master who
could teach him to become a mighty warrior, but due to his dim-witted nature
and extreme clumsiness, noone wanted to guide him through life.
Fortunately, Raikon was not smart enough to grasp the meaning of this, and
he went out to explore the world.
Description:
An enormous block of giant raises about 14 feet before you. He is almost
half as wide as he is tall, with large bulky arms and massive calloused
hands. He has small cuts and scars on all visible skin. His skin is a dull
grey colour, much like the stone his race is named after. He has no hair on
his undersized square head and his eyes are small and beady. He is covered
in dirt and moss and his equipment appears to be in very poor shape.
