Not so long ago, in the not so far away town of Liberty, there was the Ocuflame family. The Ocuflame family were a group of aloof, isolationist avians, known for their quirkiness. The eldest male and female were both to some degree talented at magic, and their sons and daughters all had their own talents. Turyin was a healer who had been turned down from the paladins guild due to the lack of patience typical of his kind. Meraela was a practitioner of magic like her parents. Yocink was also a practitioner of magic. Then there was Valcunira. She showed less of an interest in magic than her siblings, and somewhat more of an interest in the laws and regulations. She was also a frequent attendee of services at the shrine to Stryth. She was also physically stronger than the rest of her family, and she viewed the magic used by the her blood relatives with a bit of disdain. While the magic had its uses, it could not replace the physical feelings she would get from adrenaline or sweat when engaging in bouts with her other peers. Thus, Valcunira left the town of Liberty, and became a member of the warriors guild. She still held the basic concept of "all men and women are created equal" within her heart upon leaving, and remained stoically devoted to Stryth upon her departure. When she engaged in fights, she planned to fight fairly. All that remained to be seen, however...
