Broken Shrines
You tread upon what seems like to be an old place of worship. Several
altars are laid out here with some broken pedestals in between. They are
solely made of a bluish type of rock that you have not seen before. Three
prominent pillars stand out, each with geometric shapes inscribed on them.
Crows from a distance gaze down and scream shrilly in the moist air.

A shadowy hand snakes towards Oogruk, smashing into his chest in a cacophony of dissonant whispers.
The whispers fade to a brief silence. Suddenly, the sound of tearing flesh and demonic screams shatters the air.
Oogruk's body is torn apart, eviscerated in sharp jagged lines that burst at the seams with gore and shadow.
Writhing underneath is a dark form that breaks apart the remaining pieces of Oogruk like an eggshell, stepping forth
with smoking red eyes and claws dripping of fresh blood.
