nice names on both of you btw, very original and creative

        1. I really like this log. Its good to see level 25 is being competitive. It was looking a bit of a circle-jerk of scarecrow and auction house up. Now its foreshadowing level 50 again. I guess that means noexp stays at level 25 forever

          1. Two comments:

            1. Nice preemptive looting once he died, lol.

            2. Aside from the Burning Sheath of Acid, lethal leather gloves, and orb of precision, I wouldn't exactly call Rithgjar's gear level 50 gear (MAYBE the flail of intense molten fire, not sure how you get that).
            1. flails from a level 50 area
But lets not beat around the bush. These items are sold for 15k on the auction house. Often having been charged up to 5/5 by a level 50 invoker first. You guys make these monsters
            2. Und ich will be there to kill them.
              -Herr Heinrich, Toter Engel
            3. Im sorry but that is such blatant bullshit. Who ever is doing that shit, their ip should be banned
            4. Which shit Ozaru? The enchanting?
            5. Yeah that's unclear. Is it the preemptive looting, selling hi-level items for cheap in auction, or enchanting 5/5 items for lowbies that you disagree with? Unfortunately the reply system here doesn't allow nested replies, so you can't really distinguish...
            6. The auction house is a good way to jump into action with the numerous people who have sat at 25 training for ages without having to invest time (because gold is super easy to get). The work to get the items was done. I dont know why they are willing to sell them for like 15k
            7. I think Ozaru is referring to Heinrich's accent.
            8. Really? I thought German was kind of gothic and that would fit in a fantasy setting. I wasn’t trying to upset anybody. I was just trying to do some RP but I can definitely abandon that if it’s upsetting. I don’t think a poor RP attempt is ban-worthy....

            10. Ozaru
              1 , 0 , 1 .
Ok let me clear up my statement. I think it is complete and utter bullshit to use alts or "level 50 friends" to get equipment for you. Enchant weapons for you and sell these items at a discounted price. The worst part is, its the same fucking person doing it. We all know who it is and nothing gets done because he gets his ass handed to him at level 50 or at level 25. What really pisses me off is when you get to level 50 and no rares are around and you see someone who clearly cheated have the shit you want. If this is all some strange coincidence why is it always dam roll gear no one wants to go to the magic faction and auction the shit there? Oh because some warrior needs to pretend to be a bad ass at level 25 got it.

Yes gambled gear is great, I love it as a back up or a primary source of equipment. However this game was designed around dungeons and killing bosses. It feels fucking great to clear an area and get the eq that was dropped. Stop fucking cheating for this guy and auctioning something that took 2 hours to get for 20k.
            11. The preemptive looting was fucking great, I have thought about doing that for ages. I was always just too lazy to do it.
            12. There's this one guy who got a beautiful shortsword to 7/7 and pretty much tried to give it away to everybody. It went to level 25. I think any time you have a bored level 50 invoker, that is going to happen. It doesn't mean it was an OOC affair. I would just point out these guys can afford the 60k buyouts and would pay them. Coz people keep saying gold is too hard
            13. I think it's less about the difficulty of gathering gold, and more about the lack of people to actually buy the item. The old saying goes, "An item is worth whatever people will pay for it." You could have the super-duper-unique-only-one-copy-ever-printed-pre-alpha-black-lotus but if nobody is willing to give you a nickel for it, it's worthless. It's frustrating to be carrying around a Nimbus of Power or whatever for weeks with nobody bidding on it. At that point you just say fuck it and sell it to that lowbie for 25k because you're tired of the weight penalty. TLDR: I agree with Dav.
            14. Wunderbar!

Yes I set up a macro for looting, I call it my “loot button” as in “OMG we actually killed him, ransack the corpse!” I am pretty sure you can’t “get all corpse” at this level so I went in prepared.

As a fun side note, I tried the avian dk pestilence thing and I had to abandon it because I kept constantly plaguing my ally.... :)
            15. Hey guys, i was the one who gave him the flail of molten fire. He told me it was an equipment not on codex so i went to take a look and just pass it to him as thanks. Quit jumping on the ooc train and get worked up for nothing retards. I'm going to start donating items to random level 25s just to get ozaru raging.
            16. The price of the auction house is the result of free market supply and demand. I auctioned a few level 50 gear for 30k to 50k before and guess what? Nobody buys it. So you drop the price until it gets sold. 15k to 20k is the price of most level 50 rares, anything more nobody buys it. Only those unique end game rares will it be sold for higher. You guys set the market prices then blame others for selling cheap. That's so funny.
            17. That isn't the whole story. Players are often paying the expired buyout amounts (at triple cost). Original auction length may not have been very long. I think that might have been the real reason for lower listing prices. Its very bid friendly, if you happen to be around. I like it this way. I just enabled overdraft bidding
            [reply to BlackWidow]
