Hailing from a place unknown even to herself, Karamanka's consciousness first awoke as a young cub while under the care of the families of Dankbark forest. It was here that she was given prolonged exposure to the cruel whims of children, who she looked obviously different from. She was taunted with demeaning nicknames, such as "Clawless Kara" and "Jagged Tooth" (even though there was nothing different about them). After a while of this abuse, she went to talk to the village elder, who said that children were boastful but cowards, and all she had to do was yell loudly and they would scatter. So the next time the children taunted her, she made sure to howl her fiercest MMMMMMEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!! From then on, she received all the respect she had longed for, although the experience had seeded a bit of a dark side in her. To the dismay of her foster parents, she departed as soon as she came of age, seeking release for the aggression that was etched into her soul.
