The laughter of children filled the woods as the pitter-patter of little
feet swept across the ground and came to a halting silence. She had hidden
herself behind a large tree stump when an older boy had found her and was
about to call out her name. She remembered how desperately she wanted to
remain hidden, to not let her part in the game end. Once their eyes met a
strange look came over the boy's face. He looked off in the distance beyond
the tree before him and spotted another child in which he excitedly ran
after. She never asked him why he didn't acknowledge her after that split
moment when their eyes locked. Her discovery made her realize that she was
not like all the other children, but she wanted to be.
Description:
A woodland silhouette in the shape of a feminine hourglass is what you are gazing upon. Peaceful orbs of light green watch you. She has short green hair that is spiked and fused with Fall leaves. A crown of antlers emerges from her head. Her complexion actively materializes and dematerializes into flesh and barkskin, a trance-like appearance sharing the visual of trees. Most of her form resembles Elven genetics, especially the ears. An aroma of sweet flowers fill the air. Long fingernails and toenails serve as lethal claws. Her facade is divine and outlandish, most of all making you think. It is a story of the seasons, however ephemeral, of the terrains she has lived in and adapted to as the dryad must.
