Velorath was born in a village south of Seringale to a human mother and
drow father, the older brother to Kaitessna. When he was a young baby,
Eastern raiders stormed the village and took him to the east as a slave
child. He grew up in a variety of noble houses, being bought, sold and
traded between families as property until he was finally put to hard slave
labor working the grounds of the coliseum. While there, he heard of older
slaves sharing stories of the great rebel leader of old, Valour, who led the
slave rebellion that fled west to form the city of Exile and the kingdom
that later bore his name. These stories inspired his dreams and gave him
courage such that he would one day follow suit. He began studying the
fighters that visited the coliseum to learn what he could from afar but
realizing that he lacked the size and strength to match them, he became
momentarily disheartened until the day a young bard entered the ring.
Watching him perform his songs was the moment he realized what he wanted to
do.
Description:
Before you stands a half-elf, standing about five foot in height. His wispy white hair is a complete mess. Long and uncombed it sticks out every which way. His eyes, one blue the other green, stare vacantly into nothingness, a slight grin permanently on his face. Under his right eye is a crescent shaped scar. His skin is very tanned and weathered. His body is very lean and looks very well taken care of.
