ah crap this sux the log recorder wasnt recording.... got no proof now.. but it was about drow dark knight vs fire giant berserker.. I can sum it up pretty well I think

both wearing pretty much same outfit
2 opals 2 cloaks 2 enchanted bracers.
berserker in two black tear armor pieces
dk in blue steel items(found on ground so why not)
consider matched as perfect match pair

both enter arena
both quaff purple
berserker dirts dk
dk blind berserker
dk disarms first try no more raged dual wield beserker
dk gets sight back. a lightning cast
starts taking lots of hits flees
4 cure lights and sanc falls
two mutilates in one round from chasing berserker
run and cure light spam from red colored health back to white
berserker quaff another purple
dk does same
berserker dirts/ is dirted again
2 unfotunate bodyslams, dk wouldve died without wimpy intervening with 1 not yet unleashed dirt from dk it was that close
invis running and spam cure light
berserker wandering and catching ticks
dk dirts berserker catching tick(sleeping)
two lightnings
one good round of all hits second third attack works
berserker flees crawls out of arena


I really wished I had saved this log to learn from, even though it was kind of a newbie fight from the looks of it, but I think the most interesting part was the fact that the berserkers health was just not coming back at all while he was raged and not fighting the dk.

the loss of dodge hasnt seemed to impair dks..
so far a fire berserker and drow dark knight seem even..

    as far as feedback goes, is there any advice or tips?

    err.. feedbacks really hard because we'd all look at the actual round by round progrression to get a sense of what's going on and what we'd do differently. So, I guess for next time save the buffer and log it. I cant'r eally help without it.

    I'd just say wait a while. In my infinite experience as a complete n00b cannon, I'd say what really sucks about a Drow Dk is the PK range compared with what you actually get as a character. You're fighting people 6+ ranks higher than you, and your defenses rarely kick in. The hp differences also start to get noticeable at a higher levels. You're getting a (erring on the generous side) average of about 12 (though I was regularly seeing 9s) per level. Zerkers are getting far more. Lack of dodge hurts, because drow parry /shield block isn't worth a damn. I had a fair bit of success at low levels as a Drow DK, because they're pretty much in their element

    No. In fact I think drow DKs suck until 50. Anything that can hit will pwn a zerker, especially when a raged zerker gets nothing except parry anyway.

    If you want to kill a zerker, just make him rage.

    yes Im feeling that bent over and violated feel, crappy level disadvantage lol. two ranks above me and my defenses start complaining. low con + level disadvantage isnt hard math to do lol.
