The Guard House
A large banner hangs on an archway indicating this is the entrance to
the Justice cabal. The room is rather plain with nothing fancy. A
bonfire is kept burning in the center of the room where the guards have
gathered around, weary from the days watch. The bare dirt ground and the
thorny shrubs against the cold cement walls offer little comfort to rest
in. Yet no one complains or grovels, they just continue their routine,
patrolling the gates of Justice. Each of them take shifts guarding the
entrance, barring any intruders from entering. No exceptions are allowed,
they dont ask any questions, they attack all who dares to trespass.

    DarkFire: you should probably read some helpfiles on cabal flags (help wanted, help anathema, help contract, help deathmark) to put things more into perspective. Basically when someone's marked for "death" with a flag from one of the cabals, the cabals sort of have "open season" to kill that person. The cabal members can, to an extent, use any means necessary to kill the flagged person - even if it means using lopsided numbers.

    Legions do it, Warlords do it, Knights obviously do it, and even Justices do it. Heck, BOUNTIED means ANYBODY in your range can come after you... a BOUNTIED 50 is just asking to get gang-raped by everybody in range that's not of their alignment. In this particular instance, Taere was anathema and knew it; he just wasn't expecting such a large gathering to be gunning for him.

    Unfortunately for Taere, I think he fell into the "everybody goes gunning for the top dog" trap, since he was decked and hadn't died anytime in the recent past that I can remember. Everybody loves to try and be the one to "take out #1", so that coupled with Taere being an evil Justice (never really received well) might've contributed to his being a "popular target"...

    Solution? Make a Justice to help "even the score"...

    It's funny because Taere was never aggressive to any Knights. He started getting attacked by Knights one day and apprehending wanted Knights and suddenly they just started to group up and attack. Once they realized even grouping up couldn't take me down, Dava decided to make up some "roll sheet" so they can gangbang, even though I wasn't Anathemaed. I was anathemaed 2 days ago while apprehending Iriqeous in Valour. Amirlith came to attack me and help Iriqeous, and I attacked Amirlith back, then Iyuri Anathemaed me.
