    I just wanted some gold and goodies, and to get ghilub. but I wasnt full health and was very low mana and he is rank 40. my parries never seemed to work.if I wanted combat style advantage I would lose a defense leaving me with only 1 defense, tho I guess since they werent working anyway, and hobble screwed me. ugh

    Maybe you should not worry about duel wielding to have the advantage, but maybe you could use a shield to at least have an equal combat style. The hobble should not a big impact on you because you cannot dodge. How was your hitroll when he dirted kicked you and kept you in the fight? Most dark knights really struggle to have crap for hitroll.

    dunno never checked that. I try to keep around 20-24 hitroll non-dirted. hobble doesnt affect any sort of dodge ability true, but you can see he can see me limp in any direction or when hobbled and it has like a 2 round lag, which means someone could initiate, you flee with wimpy, they can follow and just spam init you to death because u fall to hobble.

    Yeah, generaly best to remain in combat when you are hobbled. As a drow, hobble is going to own you because the sneak thing + it goes away faster the higher con you have + it fucks your fleeing up.

    And it has more like a 1 to 1.25 round lag.
