Caltraps IS nice against a shaman, it does -hit -dam, and the -dex stacked with the dust causes horrendous flee lag.
what's the -hit/-dam going to do to a shaman? He's not going to outmelee you (which isn't what happened in this log since ninja was blinded). The only thing a shaman would die to would be flee/blindness dust lag. If he were smart, he could just outcure that for a while.
