I still don't know whether I should have just gone straight for the murder/ikuzachi here or not (instead of quaffing). Knowing my luck I might have died if I did.

    You get outdamaged like crazy in every log its kind of ridiculous

    Uhh.... use a water cube and some uncanny attacks and hes dead... atleast thats what I would have done

    -there's better things to hold than shuriken (e.g. firestone, tian gong manual, whatever)
  3. Cythlan Graugon vs. Akika -
    It seems to me that you have no problem fighting against other stealth classes (rogue, bard, ninja) and you seem to fair well against some warrior from my experience. It seems you still seem to have trouble with mage/priest classes.

    Heres what I would do, use water cube, but don't let him get weapon advantage. It's not worth it to use a vuln weapon if he's gonna be able to sidestep you and whatnot.

    Since duergars don't have a particularly high dex caltrops will be useful for you against him. Just like for low str races your gonna wanna use nerve on them.

    If I were you i'd go for windstone as held, +3 hitroll would be more useful for you than an offhand weapon

    To answer your question Akika, lI generally prefer to quaf and live than gamble and die. I would also suggest using caltraps and dirt in this situation particularly so he cant change weapons, but do it when you can use a skill on him that lags, sidestep for example. Let him deal with a few rounds of you hitting A)sidestep B) alot of attacks with him blind and you not with style advantage. In this case dex is your friend.

    With todays AR, you need to think about the differences in class, race, equipment, level. Think before you fight. 'What dont I want him to use on me because he has mad str? What can I use against him?'

    Contemplate before every battle, and I think we will see you rock everything there is except lothgar (who is going to need to get ganked in order to die assuming he is still decked)

    You definately want to keep sanc up all the time. With your health being low to begin with it a fight can turn around very fast and you could end up with the short end of the stick. One thing that you mention quite a bit is being outdamaged all the time. Are you trying to land your mals (dust and smoke) to force players to put on saves gear? Looking at the logs I think you could use those skills more to help bring people down.
