OK, I was bountied and an out of pk justice kept attacking the castle, so after a long time of
chasing him away with henchman I decided to attack their cabal instead to keep them away from
Knight's castle. Since I am not logged on right now I cannot read the cabal helpfiles, but Im
pretty sure that it said something like "memebers must do everything to keep the cabal safe",
which I belive I did in this case. Also there was a note from an imm previously that ordered
knights to gain the justice item, so there was nothing wrong in attacking the justice cabal,
still I get this:
An Immortal says 'So why does a lightwalking Knight invade the halls of Justice these days?'
You say 'To take their attention away from my castle.'
You say 'They were constantly invading my halls.'
An Immortal says 'As your bounty would dictate they should.'
You say 'But as you see now they have their eyes elsewhere.'
You say 'I gained my bounty because they invaded.'
You say 'Is my duty not to keep the castle safe?'
You say 'As I cannot harm one of them, I decided to lure them elsewhere instead.'
You say 'If that is not what I am supposed to do then I guess I will just have to go there and let them give me a beating.'
An Immortal says 'I'm just wondering how far the definition of "defense" stretches these days.'
You say 'If I could fight them both such methods would not be nessecary.'
You say 'But as they are not allowed to go and gain ranks they keep bothering me.'
An Immortal says 'As they are supposed to.'
You agree absolutely.
An Immortal says 'I'm just wondering what prompted you to invade THEIR cabalgrounds, when you'd already slain the one that co
uld do you direct harm, and he isn't evil or anathema.'
You say 'But we were also ordered to show our superiority by gaining the flag, so I do not really see much options here.'
You say 'They kept coming back again.'
You say 'I slew him twice in fact.'
You say 'But they cared not for it.'
You say 'In fact the one that I can directly harm I do not care about.'
You say 'I can easily defend the castle from him.'
An Immortal says 'So then why the invasion of their halls?'
You say 'But the other one only has to leave the path, rest and return as long as he likes.'
An Immortal says 'And you can call a footman as long as you like, correct?'
You say 'Yes, but I can not walk into safety that simply, but yes, you are correct.'
An Immortal says 'Explain how you can't "walk into safety that simply."'
You say 'Although eventually my potions would run out and then I would have to leave our castle defensless.'
An Immortal says 'They invade the Castle, you show up and dispatch Mnorulum, and your footman takes the other.'
An Immortal says 'If they choose to try again, you repeat.'
You say 'He only has to move one room for me not to be able to touch him.'
An Immortal says 'But he's rather weak and young. Without his more powerful ally, Mnorulum, what threat is he?'
You say 'Not much of a threat I admit.'
An Immortal says 'So we're back to the original question.'
You say 'But by draining all my potions he can easily leave me vulnerable when Lothgar appears.'
An Immortal says 'Why invade the cabalgrounds of those you don't consider threats
?'
You say 'And aside from that I thought that my goal was to keep them away from our castle.'
An Immortal says 'So your defense is that "if a certain event in the UNFORSEEABLE FUTURE occurs," you're doing what you're do
ing currently to prepare yourself?'
You say 'But by sitting there I would be luring them back and back again.'
You say 'I guess it would be somewhat right.'
An Immortal says 'I'm just having a hard time following your logic here.'
An Immortal says 'You're obviously not threatened by either of the Justices. You've proven that already by slaying the bigge
r one twice, and you haven't died to the other one.'
An Immortal says 'Not only that, but you complain about your potions getting used up. Meanwhile, sitting out here in the mid
dle of nowhere won't help them stay fresh either.'

See how he uses something that has nothing to do with the subject just to blame me?
Of course if an illusionist would rest as far from travelled areas as possible.
---
You say 'Let's.'
An Immortal says 'Do you see a point to a Knight invading another cabal's halls with no evils or anathema about in said cabal
?'
You raise an eyebrow at the notion.
You say 'I thought that Qwasi was a drow.'
An Immortal blinks innocently.
An Immortal says 'Can you harm him?'
You say 'No.'
An Immortal says 'Then disregard him.'
An Immortal says 'Refer to the previous question.'
You say 'I did.'
An Immortal says 'Do you see a point to a Knight invading another cabal's halls with no evils or anathema IN HIS RANGE about
in said cabal?'
You say 'I did.'
An Immortal says 'You did what? You saw a point?'
You say 'Yes.'
An Immortal says 'Which was to "keep them away"?'
You say 'I explained it earlier, but it seems that my logics are not enough for you.'
You say 'I do not belive there is much more to discuss about that.'
An Immortal says 'Let's review the virtues.'
You say 'I did belive that I had to keep away the drow from my castle and I did what I thought was best.'
An Immortal says 'Number two states "Defend Castle Valour against all INTRUDERS".'
An Immortal says 'Attacking someone else's cabal isn't the same as defending your own.'
An Immortal says 'You keep mentioning Qwazi but you can't even harm him. If he comes near the castle, then he's going to die
from your footman.'
You say 'Also I did not belive that invading their halls would be that wrong, especially as we were ordered to show our super
iority.'
An Immortal says 'So you want to keep him away, so instead of seeing if he's going to invade again (where you CAN harm him),
you go to a place where he can harm you?'
You say 'I guess if you put it that way.'
You say 'Then yes.'
An Immortal says 'See how it doesn't make sense to me?'
You say 'Maybe, but.'
An Immortal says 'If he was invading and you were sitting on the Knight's path with a footman waiting, that's different.'
An Immortal says 'Instead, you rush in where they can both harm you.'
An Immortal says 'It doesn't make much sense to me.'
You say 'If you look at the consecuenses I killed one of them twice and chased the other one away numerous times, yet after I
invaded their halls they stayed in Seringale.'
----
He suddenly stayed silent and didn't say anything for about 20 mins
----
You pray 'I do not have much time in here anymore so I would like an answer if I am going to be punished or not.'
An Immortal says 'Not at present. I'm going to chew on this one for a while. Continue on as you were.'

This was months ago and I still don't know if what I did was wrong or not.

Knights can please themselves in their downtime - if they have no other duties, they can go pk neutrals that act unruly towards them, as long as they do it by themselves. This was decided some months ago to address these kinds of concerns.
Their line of logic follows like so; If they are out of range, you have henchmen for a reason. If they are in your pk range, then pk them. We don't really care if they keep invading over and over. Chase them away, over and over.
That about sums it up.
