    Without knowing the level and race of the characters involved, I can't offer much specific advice. This looks like a fight between a lvl 30ish berserker and dark-knight. If he doesn't like to flee and you're out-damaging him (like in this fight), sideswipe away if you're in combat advantage. Most players will flee out when things aren't going well so you either need to dirt him before raging and hope he flees blinded, or wait until he lags himself with a skill and flee/murder. With any luck, you can get him to mistime a fireball while you're out of the room and get a nice murder round of concentrated attacks.

    Here is my advice, stay in at the very least style advantage, unless they're chaotic or a rogue type class i don't worry about weapon type that much, because being hobbled and unable to dodge sucks more than losing an occasional parry, and that was good of you to save rage till the end. I'm not so knowledgeable on zerkers save for the fact that i've died to a couple and seen rigwarl fight once or twice. I would've waited for sanc to be up quaffed then raged however just to be safe.

    after you rage, you can't rage again, you have to murder or bodyslam. Also, if youre in rage, you have two moves - roar or bodyslam. and in that log you probably wanted bodyslam

    Going on a complete guess here, I'm going to say you were something like a human berserker. I say this because of the amount of mv you have, which is a lot higher than my giant zerkers before they hit 50. If that's the case, you can afford to dirt the dk. I think everyone (including Dav) has said that human dk + dirt = death. It's one of the reasons for choosing drow at character select. So, try dirt next time - especially towards the end of the tick. If he flees, he's fucked, if he doesn't, he's fucked. Bear in mind that, towards of the end of the fight, it's safe to exchange dirt. You can use defiance to rid yourself of the problem - he's stuck with it.

    Otherwise, just look at what everyone else has said - there's some good advice here. Oh, and use %B - %U in your prompt! Lack thereof make this log hard to read!

    Of course, there's the possibility i'm talking shite - I've been drinking for the past 7 hours.

    Cateroth was attacking with a slash (sword, most likely) and sideswiping, so defensive. Scarbos was using thrust, probably from the monstrous steel pike, and I'm pretty sure I'm right since I watched the fight... Cateroth was a human berserker, and I think the only thing he could have done better was bodyslammed toward the end.

    yeah, the reason i kept raging was cause i wanted to rage charge, but sometimes rage fails, so i kinda spammed it :P

    no its not just dirt=death, its more like no sanc+dirt = death. human paladins (exact same defences and combat-curing) do fine. Long sancs is why. They dont get caught. Actually I dont think there is any other class other than dk that can so easily be caught pants down with no sanc and one defence. But then they have the best offense too, and when played passive-aggressively you won't get that chance. Ah well I guess I rambled enough.
