Just wanted to know if you guys have any suggestions about Stone Giants, Whats more important Hitroll or Damroll? How important are Saves? How is does a warrior defeat mages with Weapon Ward? Sorry, its not a log but any help with anything regarding Stone Giants is helpful!

    Hitroll would probably be more beneficial to a giant than damroll, to a certain extent. It somewhat depends on who or what you're fighting. Ideally, both your hitroll and damroll will be 40+ then it won't matter so much.

    Saves are important regardless of class or race.

    Oh and you use the sword of weapon word cancellation to defeat mages.

    Defeating mages with weapon ward and flying and protective shield is impossible.

    Well,almost.
    One thing I've noticed is MAKE SURE YOU LOOK FOR THE PROTECTIVE SHIELD FALLING MESSAGE AND INSTA-BASH... theres been a thousand times I could have sealed the deal by bashing right when the shield falls, but they flee before I notice.

    Other then that... its basically impossible

    Defeating a mage with weapon ward, flying and protective shield is not impossible at all. Defeating a competent player with word and fly is impossible.

    ok so umm anyone else got idea on how to get around weapon ward? i know you can trip but for a giant that sucks badly.... what about fleeing until ward falls? or is that like #1 thing mages keep up?

    That, prot shield, and aura are prolly the biggest three, yeah. Weapon ward doesn't last long at all though, so just watch REALLY close for it or protective shield to fall and then bash/sidewsipe (or whatever) them to death and stay on them like white on rice.

    Only problem with waiting for weapon ward to fall... clerics always use a shield... so you can disarm or barrage... no lag... unless you get a spin bash off, which might be nullified by the protective shield? And if it isn't it doesn't matter because I have 22 dex and ALMOST NEVER do spin bashes. Mastered bash too.
    With mage I guess its easier cause they don't get shields.

    My Slith hits spin bash about 50% of the time and I've got bash at 82%

    Barrage followed by shield disarm is very beef. You get a free round of attacks on their "Unexposed flank" and they loss the shield till arm distention heals.
    But all that takes 2-3 rounds...So.....
