    You're assuming Yyf knew his health at that point. And if that's the case, at 14 hp just about any attack would have killed him so still no need emphasize bow.

    But other than that, Zerkers get an insane resistance to bows (even ones using vulns) when they rage. It's never worth keeping a bow. Go chaos bound staff if you don't have an ice staff/staff of storms (depending on race) and take 'em down that way since Zerks don't learn staff.

    Yyf is learning. Unfortunately tactics that are effective in PVE are not so much for PVP. One skill in particular that I do not see being used is retreat. It would/could have made an enormous difference in this fight. Rangers are quite effective at dirt kick, blinding your opponent then retreating behind your pet when he raged in this instance could be very useful. Yyf, when you get into fights this close fleeing and murdering is about the best thing you can do. Rangers are guerilla fighters, if you noticed the majority of their skills effect entering or leaving combat. One flee murder would have done the trick. When he initiated against you could have fled murdered for the upper hand. I just hope at this point your herb skill was not available.

    we've already concluded bow vs rage is bad. However if he had used ice arrows in place of PHYSICAL DAMAGE (Since he was already using a bow) he would have done more damage. How can you argue that pierce is better than ice on a fire giant? Like I said, perhaps not the most convential advice. but it would have won him this fight. Sure, other things would have also helped him win but in a fight this close using a major vulnerability would have deffinetly turned the tides. Which is all I'm trying to say here.
