So I seem to have been at war with Legion alot lately.

Permontar and I have been fighting back and forth for like half an hour or so, with me having the upper hand the entire time.

This is just the final, decisive round.

Tips:

Weapon ward up. At all times. There was NO excuse to not have it up, especially since you initiated. This is NOT the first round he did it,
and this is the second one I checked to see.

Magic damage does less to duergar, Permontar. You should know that.

Flight up. Almost got you killed earlier.

Market Street
Walking along Market Street, you see shops lining both sides of
the road. The pavement is made of marble bricks, and the way
+ F is lined by torches which currently stand unlit in the daylight.

| | and comfortable place to do some shopping. In particular you
S F notice a bakery to the north, and a butchers to the south. The
smell of fresh bread wafts enticingly from the baker's open door. You can
go east to a large steel arch or continue down the road to the west.

Under a steel arch
Here before you stands a solid steel arch, magically crafted to stand
across the road. It's seamless lines glint in the light from the
F + sun, and engraved across the top for all to see are the words "Market
| | District". People walk both ways past you, the ones leaving often
+-+-@-+ carrying many items. The path leading west is paved in marble bricks,
| | creating a multi- hued walkway that looks magnificent. You can
F + also go east onto Meadow Lane.

A grand building with long luminous corridors stands before you. Torches
and lamps line the walls on either side of you. Golden pillars stand
+ every 10 feet away from one another. It is a regal sight - much
| different than the rest of the city which seems to be in utter ruin
T-@-+-+ and despair. Evidence gives that at one point in time, Darkhaven
| was rich and a beautiful seaport filled with visitors and guests
+ from all lands. The walls are a bright white in color and in the
center of it all stands a blue swirling orb that has been broken by some unseen
force. A blood stain is present upon the orb. A sign has been tacked onto
the wall here.

    but I thought you didn't get contract for killing a Legion, just a protected?

    You dont get contracted for killing a legion. If you kill the same legion twice they can vendetta you twice and contract you, or someone can buy one on you. Killing a protected DOES contract you but if you are contracted killing a Legion removes it, as it proves you are more powerful then the legion, and the contract pointless.

    Permontar does make a lot of mistakes but he's also quite good on taking advantage of it when you make mistakes. Weapon ward was a bit of a fuck up, he shoulda been fine if you didn't have the same recall as him. Kudos to both.
