    Problem #2: One on one, trip is only barely useful when chasing someone in flee mode, or in very specialized situations (bow vs. dual wield). Bigtime fail.

    Problem #3: Eating too many murders without getting any of your own/charge/etc. in.

    yeah, wheres the good old dirt -> disarm? that stuff should be scary since the stumble from dirt kick, plus it lasts longer when you flee.

    dirt is a good lead in for free murders, disarms, switching for combat style advantages and so on.

    Next, squeeeee, dirt disarm is kinda useless now, due to the low dirt timing. Probably dirt/disarm, one round after disarm, the dirt would wear off. leaving u having one rd lag for a fast murder. If you're unlucky, dirt wears off the moment disarm hits and u get murders for nothing in return. Kinda luck based for that, so i dont really disarm anymore. Hobble and ur skills works better.

    well rek, consider this.

    you're dual wielding, your enemy is too. your main hand weapon is advantageous to your enemies main hand. you dirt them and rather than flee (which causes dirt to last longer), they choose to stay in the fight. at this point they will likely use a skill in return (such as dirt, a spell, etc), now they are dirt blind and have lagged themselves. you go for the disarm, and it succeeds because of your weapon type. they are now lagged, dirted, and fighting in defensive style with nothing in their offhand such as a shield, while you are dual wield style. style + concentration trumps dodge, lack of a shield trumps shield block, lack of a dual parry weapon trumps that.

    so you theoretically turn a 3 defense enemy into a 1 defense enemy, all from a simple dirt -> disarm.

    there's a reason weapon switching in fights has lag. hobble + disarm is also a possibility.

    you initiate with dirt, he dirts u back, you will end the lag with a split second before him. you disarm, he just stand in combat for maybe a round IF you're lucky. IF not, dirt probably would be running off soon, and he would flee and do whatever he wants to do.

    It is harder to successfully dirt kick one's opponent upon initiation than
    during combat proper, due to proximity and where the victim is facing.
    Fleeing while one is blinded by dirt kick is risky, since one may stumble
    while attempting to escape combat. Also, it takes longer to rub the dirt out
    of one's eyes when one is focused on fleeing from combat.


    Disarm is a very useful skill for depriving your enemy of his weapon.
    Not only will disarming one's opponent force him to temporarily fight with
    his bare hands, but it will also deprive him of his PARRY defense while he
    is unarmed.

    free damage is good, no?
