So, apparently the Knight Cabal has moodiness associated with Anathema flags cuz I was one like 2 months ago for killing a Knight, but I apparently it left me because 2 days ago or so I was able to help them rank in a group. So while I'm minding my business in the forest reaching out to Pwen cuz they were marked a danger, I get attacked all of a sudden. Seems I was anathema again. (Hadn't killed any Knight since those months ago)

Still my fault for dying because I coulda did things different at the beginning.

    Happened to me a lot with Kotzel. Knights would tell me I'm not anathema, then a day later pop up ready to kill me. Then the next day I wouldn't be an anathema, and so on and so forth. Donno if the flag is bugged or what

    The flag isn't bugged. Its just that it has a priority listing kind of like when you who pk and the higher rated pker is a brighter shade of red? It only shows the highest rated Anathema, or in some cases the two highest rated, if there are many. That is why they have the roll sheet and are supposed to check it. I was battling vrykhul the other day, as he was Anathema, and Dindin showed up. He was higher on the roll sheet so it no longer showed Vrykhul as being Anathema. Doesnt mean he still wasn't, just that Dinden was priority.

    Yeah, but that's major league pimping of the system if I'm anathema the whole time and just not top priority. Because I was grouped with you guys and just not top anathema apparently. And with the look of this log, ya'll would have just turned on me gank style while I was STILL in the group.

    And I'd just be sitting there with a WTF? on my face. That needs to be addressed.

    You weren't an anathema at all. You only get the anathema flag for killing nobles and attacking people in the palace of valour. For killing any Valourians including knights you get a position on the roll sheet and the highest logged on person on the roll sheet also gets a temporary anathema flag, but he isn't really one. Just a mark to send knights attacking you.

    Ok lets start from the top. Hrimo there is a problem with the current system. There is a bug with the anathema flags and maybe it has something to do with the roll sheet. Knights would never group with an anathema and rank period. When you were helping the knights your flag was not in place so lets clarify this. The bug happened to Kotzel from time to time and its happening to you (maybe a keeper thing). The only way that I know of getting rid of the flag is death it is suppose to be similar to a wanted flag.

    I mean, I'm not mad or anything irl. But you realize that is a problem. Because whoever was higher ranked than me when I was grouped with them a few days before could have logged off. Then I'd be anathema in their group, and with how it's pker's guilty pleasure to catch people with their pants down (no warning), that could have turned into a bs ultra gank. That's all I'm saying.

    As far as I know it doesn't work like emilise is speaking. Vrykhul probably lost his flag because pwen purfied him. I have seen many anathema's on at once so I truly think it was a bug and valinar was acting out of duty.

    Theres been a bug with the flags since it came out. I remember with Cythlan I couldn't pk for like a week because the bug was effecting me showing up in where and i was sneaking somehow.

    I definitely would NOT initiate without an Anathema flag. I did what I was supposed to, I'm sorry if it was a bug or not. But soldiers on the battle field don't ask if they're supposed to shoot short or the fat ones, they just shoot the enemy.
