   Even though I rarely play, I've seen some good class in these last few logs from Legion versus Knight.
   
   I'm not sure how Knight is even still Knight, considering the amount of trash I've seen in THEIR logs.

   Are you all not seeing that the cross was held by the Legion guardian? They only brought this on themselves.

   No one complains for the Knights when its Sasumu, Guran, Vrykhul, Kus and Adregaoch vs me and I still get the item back. No one complains the past week when been Kus and Adregaoch vs me every day. Why is it a mystery that I'd participate in gangbangs? I have no problem fighting 1 on 1, in fact I usually initiate combat against 2+ legions when I'm by myself. Something you can be certain legion never does, some never even defend their cabal when it's 1 of them against more than 1 of us. Adregaoch deserves all the props in the world though for being one of the few brave Legions and sticking it out until he gets his item back. I don't have any problems with bad odds, but you should realize this when you join a cabal that at times the odds will be stacked against you. Only newbies complain about odds like this, and that's because they're not part of cabal politics and just know what they see from WHO and these logs.
   
   Kus, I'd been fighting you for no more than 20 minutes when Thoranco came. At which point we invaded. And I wasn't wasting your time, all you do is blackjack/steal and with no way to faerie fire you're the one wasting your own time. If you'd fight instead of just hide maybe you'd score a kill every once in a while. It's a major coincidence then that you had to go right when Thoranco logged on. What is even more of a coincidence is you waited until we killed the cabal guard to send me a tell but didn't bother to defend your cabal once while your guardian died (which btw is the safest time to defend your cabal). I remember when you got kicked from cabals for that. Then once we attack your altar guard you hide and go ld. Instead of just taking your death like a man. Why join a cabal if you're scared to fight and lose your pretty items? At least Knights aren't scared to die.

   Again, all but the one time I had to go, which was AFTER being on for 2.5-3hours already, I have defended. I know what NOT to do in the Cabal, and I have not done any of that. So again, enough with the lies.
   
   I have come to the conclusion that you're just a complainer with the various complaints you've sent to IMM about nearly EVERY Legion member. If it's not this it's that.

   On to more important things, A legion who doesnt fight and kill is useless. If he wants to hassle people he shouldn't of joined legion now that the going has gotten tough. All he does is steal and hide. Regardless Dav said very pointedly that Caballed should not come into the realms if they could not take the time to defend even after they had been here for a long time. It is their responsibility to defend. Period. He said that Those who did not defend would be Uninducted. No excuses, no Oh I didn't have enough time. If you didn't have enough time, you should of quit out before Evaole invaded rather then stick around for a fight against someone who still as of yet has not died to pk, and likely will not for some time longer. if 5 on one can't kill him what the fuck do you think your going to be able to do?

   Fighting is how you defend your cabal, not steal/blackjack/hide. If all you want to do is use steal/blackjack/hide that's fine, but a cabal is not the place for it or you. You could be fleeing and using your medic scrolls to get some health back and actually fight, but instead you usually just hide somewhere, come out, blackjack/steal and hide again.
   
   
   
   If your time to play is coming to a close you log off before you get into fights. You coulda logged out when I logged in or when I left to rest like Guran does, but you chose to fight me. Then all of a sudden you really really have to go RIGHT NOW when it looks like you'll die. You don't even try to defend one single time, then quit out. If that's the case what stops me from having to go every time my cabal item gets stolen and I don't want to defend? And you quit out on Emilise when she had your item. So that's more than just the one time you clame of. If I'm lying Kus I can post several logs for everyone to see, just say the word.
   
   And I've never sent a note to Legion or you, so the question is, how do you know who or what I complain about?

    Again, I defend. Any IMM can see this. So arguing here is pointless and I grow tired of it. I don't care about dying like you seem to think. I do care about fighting smart. Evaole is a beast, and my thief has a hard time doing anything meaningful to him. Oh well. I keep trying and you keep complaining. That's how it's going to be.

    It is for the imms to decide whether Kus defends or not. It is not, however, for you to decide how he decides to defend. It is totally ridiculous to say his method of blackjack/stealing is wrong. He is a thief! Evaole is a healer and my mistake on that, so basically how about this then? Kus fights and Evaole doesn't get to use curatives, think that's fair? You seem to think cabal warfare is like a goddamn duel in the arena, it is not. If he can hide/blackjack/steal and possibly snipe one of you off, why not? You join a cabal to promote its ideals and unfortunately the ideals are different. Knights of Valour, by definition should be a group of courage so yes you should defend 1 on 5. Where does it say Legion have to the same? Where does it say, a legion Thief should act honorable and courageous? His duties are to defend his cabal to the best of his abilities. Where does it say he should abandon his thief skills and fight like a proud warrior? You expect Legion to play like Knights and if that's the case why do we even have different cabals then? Why not just have the same skills for everyone, the same guidelines and just rename everybody team A and team B.
    
    The only problem I see with Kus is the fact that he didn't try to pick one of you off and that's about it.

    dunno, i would like us not to make a big thing out of it.
    Kus engaged and that is important, he can't hold blow for blow and I don't expect him to, just do his best (does not neccesarily mean get killed).
    I'm glad that everyone has a definition on defense of the cabal, but this should be let to Lord Olyn's discretion. I for one have absolutely no complaints on Kus, what i've seen of him anyway.
    
    and calling a cabal member that doesn't kill useless... is pretty shortsighted. We have whole another dimension thanks to our rogues, and soon you will learn that.

    Xaeros, stop being a newbie or stop posting please. I can't take much more of this. No one expects Kus to fight like a warrior, or like he's in the arena. But rules clearly state you die in the defense of your cabal, or you get your item back. Be it 5 vs 1 or 10 vs 1 you are honor bound to defend your cabal no matter what cabal it is. The fact that you're even arguing this like it's a point of debate argues that you are the newbie I'm stating you to be. These aren't Ic or RP rules here, these are ooc game rules. No one said defend foolishly, but sitting around then going ld does not count as cabal defense, foolishly or otherwise. And breaking game rules should not be up to the "discretion" of an imm. It should be standard for everyone. Specific cabal rules are a different story.
    
    Anyway, in a game like this its easy to let emotions cloud your judgement. No hard feelings to Kus or any Legion, it's still irritating to see people bend the rules when you try and play as honestly as you can. Sure 5 vs 1 I thought I was dead for sure, but I went anyway because fair is fair. You take your death and you move on. To watch a legion not defend their cabal once, then hide and go ld is a pretty shitty move, and anyone that can defend that is obviously biased.

    Kus has 3 deaths. 2 from Evaole, 1 from Thoranco when I was naked at awful (noob mistake) retrieving my shit from my corpse.
    
    You keep complaining about one specific incident. Remember that entire time we fought, which was > than 20 minutes, you just sat on our path 90% of the time doing nothing. You invaded once or twice and I got you out of there. At that point I was in 2.5-3hrs in and I had to take care of some family business. I made the decision to depart. You weren't in our Cabal or near Darkhaven at that time and I believe Thoranco had just logged in.
    
    You can not comment on when I logged off on Emilise, Krixus, and Thoranco because you simply weren't around. I attempted to get the skull back, and failed...I did what I was required/wanted to do. There is also more to that story but it has some serious implications and this place is not for that sort of topic.
    
    I could really see if me or anyone else blatantly avoid defending, but that's not the case here. You left the area, to Valour presumably as I checked around DH, and I decided to leave to go do what I had to do. If you wanted to keep me in game, you would've invaded instead of leaving. I don't play the "I got to go game" as my wife can attest to. I've stayed on far past when I should at various times to fight you all and/or defend. If Olyn/Dav/IMM want me to just go die when I'm in my rights (nobody invading, item secured) to leave, then I'll gladly do so because I abide by the rules. Bottom line, I have always defended and/or made attempts to retrieve our item, regardless of the odds.

    Wow, good to see so much emotion. Just a few comments on what I have seen, and I will not point fingers. When you join a cabal expect to die it is part of the game. If you have a problem with dying then do not join a cabal. If you see someone doing unhonorbale things then send a complaint. I have had no complaints about players conduct from outside the knights. The largest part of the problem here is that Kus is ANATHEMA. I will spell this out for all, ANATHEMA = your going to get killed. If you don't want to die, then do not become ANATHEMA. All knights will do whatever it takes to stress this point, the flag is similiar to that of being wanted by justice.
