    Cool. Why did you use Chain Lightning instead of Hellstream? And, how do you become immune to your own chain lightning?

    chain lightning for the pets and mana shield is how you become immune to it
  3. Xerties Noliperus v Valkrin -
    Chain lightning is generally superior to hellstream in the right situations. It can be tough to recognize those situations though.

    First and foremost, it has a shorter lag than hellstream, 1 round v 1.5 rounds. This means you'll hopefully eat fewer flee-murders, which is killer to casters.

    Second, I think it generally does a bit more damage per cycle than hellstream. This can vary, and is related to the shorter lag.

    You've got to be careful though. It's useful for duels, but in general combat you can get into trouble with it, since it has AOE properties and will jump to other mobs if you're not paying attention.

    very true chain lighting is a great skill if used without other targets around besides the rangers pets but if Valkrin would of used the right barkskin then the only choice left would be hellstream which will end up with more flee murders if done right. you live, you die, you learn
