does the abandonedrealms.com site come up as a blank white page when everyone else goes to it?

    Yes, the server is down, and once they have time to recognize/deal with the issue, they'll reboot it.
  2. bassball dumb question -
    AR itself is down too, right?

    Yeppers, forum and the realms is a package deal. All up or all down.

    It appears that one can be up with the other being down.

    from what I could tell, the server itself was working the whole time, but the mud and web service were not working.

    if i had to guess, i'd say that maybe its a firewall issue, or the server rebooted and the services were not restarted.

    More likely the hamster took a break and the server lost power.
