Before Iwazaru starts talking smack about how he killed me twice (which is true, I was a retard), let me explain why I'm posting this. I'm posting this to show Iwazaru's utter incomptency with respect to being a Justice. I am not belittling whatever skills he might or might not have as a player, just his ability as a Justice.

    The only way your guard will turn on you is if you yourself are flagged. As far as the false flag goes, if it caused a death Vanisse will probably want to slay you if not then the flag must be removed. On my first justice I had trouble seeing who was attacked too, but a trigger to highlight (WILDLY) yells so that you can discern who is being attacked, who the attacker is, and if they're protected. And stop fucking up.

    I think there is an exception to what Hrimo said.

    If I'm a justice and I hear:

    (WILDLY) Hrimo yells 'Help! I'm being attacked by someone!'

    and I scan or run to the room and see Hrimo fighting dumbass, I would flag dumbass.

    In this case Grinsa was the one yelling he was attacked by someone so uh yeah you could have flagged Quillden but you missed and got the wrong guy. 50/50 chance on that one.

    Back to the original point. I would like to note that I was in the same room as Iwazaru when the attacks took place. So he would have been able to see Quilden fading into existence and attacking me too. Just saying.

    my question is: why is quilden attacking grinsa in town when he himself is a lawful? he broke a law and also should be slayed and outcasted, unless he is a deputy but i don't see why he would be unless he was helping with nadrin, but still, grinsa wasn't a criminal and was openly attacked by quilden so under the circumstances quilden should have been wanted and outcasted for breaking ethos.

    Give Iwazaru a break, but quilden should be slain, outcasted, branded an outlaw, traitor, wanted, contracted, danger, gimped, and anathema. Lol. Thought that pip's opinion was funny. Love ya pippers! Ha.

    Bottom line, if he was in the room he needs to pay more attention. If not, then he can do nothing. You should have detect invis up if you didn't, or weren't holding a light. Flag only when it's apparent, and you won't go wrong.

    There's no reason why the guard should've been attacking him it was a bug probably. And here's my understanding of what happened and what should've happened.

    Iwazaru was in the room, quilden attacks grinsa when grinsa is still protected, Quilden is flagged.

    Since Grinsa had the flag placed on him the flag should either be removed if he wasn't apprehended, and if he was Iwazaru would have to be slain since his actions wrongfully lead to anothers death. I'm unable to log in right now, so Vanisse or Vaelyn will probably take care of it and handle it however they choose to.

    Kalist your right the first time could have been edited, but he was probably there (should have read better). The second time he was in the room when quilden attacked. The ethos breakdown should be a slay 1-5 times and an outcast if it is a repeat offense.
