    these were not guardsmen, these were mobs that RANDOMLY backstab you. Thats all they do though.

    The mob backstabs upon exit of the room but does not continue battle, the autoflee overrides the fact that combat is not initiated, fleeing involves exiting the room, the bug here is that since the mob backstabs on room exits and fleeing generally involves leaving the room you could be backstabbed infinite amount of times if you had autoflee set high enough.
