It was much closer than it should've been... I miss one hobble, and then he outruns me before I can follow through

His frame is rather slender for a duergar with thick battles scared hands
resting on his hips. His face is rather hard to read, with half cut by the
edge of a knife and the other half matted with long overgrown brown locks.
Two shallow fiery red eyes are arched by bushy graying eyebrows. Long thick
mats of reddish brown hair run down his back, with a long pony tail tied up
twine almost reaching belt level. Loaron has an overabundance of facial
hair, to go along with a tremendous amount of neck and back hair that can be
seen from his leather vest. His clothes are rather plain for his
profession. Loaron quickly scans the area and is always ready and able for
combat.

    First of all. Hobble misses sometimes. Even when you're a giant. So relax on that one
    And as for the second two. That's how hobble works. The flee lag is shorter then the hobble strike lag. So if you flee quick enough you escape no matter what. Not sure if it was always meant to be that way, but that's how it is. Obviously.

    But Daoph, just because you hobbled doesn't mean it's affect landed or that the receiver should just stay there and take hits if they can avoid it. So no more "wow"'s after they manage to type "flee" lol.

    If you don't see that they clutched their leg in pain after it, it didn't stick. If you flee right after a dirt/hobble, you should recover before they're lag is up. I think it's meant like that because if you don't flee in that initial window you're caught period. So it helps balance out the dirt/hobble autowin.

    The best way to beat hobble (if it lands) is to flee and run it off. Which I did each time. Bassball is right the flee lag vs murder lag is smaller if you flee immediately. Your actually lucky as well, you fleed while hobbled and didn't eat any extra damage.

    This statement is absolutely ridiculous - if something is importatnt to you then you would give it your undivided attention.

    On another note if you are caballed it is ill advised to log in for 20 mins as you will/should eventually get into bad situations where you are forced to defend etc. If you hate OOC then kill the OOC group, don't coddle it.

    The 20 mins here and there is possible, when I finish what i need to get done before another appointment. I agree I have gotten into those situations before on Corzen and other chars and it is a pain in the balls. As far as the ooc is concerned, I don't like it and nor do I care for others using it but it is something that is beyond my or anyones control except the people using OOC. When I can play at home, I do and I will fight anyone and kill/die in any fight so long as the other person does not leave.
