My friends thought this log was funny, and they kept ragging me to post it, so (after many minutes of editing) I did. Hope you find it as amusing as I did.
We've been ranking, but both of my groupmates had to go. Beldwin had contacted Olekmar for me, and the result...
===
A neck tag says 'I belong to your mother.'
Shnoopy the beagle is in excellent condition.
ARRRRRRRRRRGH!!!!!
Olekmar says 'If you feel up to it.'
Beldwin waves happily.
Molug rumbles 'Mother has a pet!?'
Beldwin walks north.
The goblin yells 'Asel! Now you die!'
The goblin yells 'Asel! Now you die!'
You think long and hard about the issue.
Olekmar blinks innocently.
Olekmar closes his eyes momentarily.
Olekmar closes his eyes momentarily.
Olekmar says 'Mother?'
Molug booms 'Did you steal my mother's pet?'
A neck tag says 'I belong to your mother.'
Shnoopy the beagle is in excellent condition.
Olekmar says 'I am no thief, bovine.'
Olekmar says 'This dog has been with me for a long while.'
Olekmar says 'You can tell by its stench.'
Shnoopy the beagle lets off a real rip-roarer ... a greenish cloud envelops Shnoopy the beagle!
Molug rumbles '...Are you my mother, then?'
You peer intently at Olekmar.
Olekmar says 'Most assuredly, I am not.'
You scratch yourself on the head... confused.
Olekmar drools all over himself -- making a TERRIBLE mess!
You get a distracted stare on your face.
You snap out of it and return to what you were doing.
===
We start into Emerald...
===
Molug rumbles 'Can short Asel join you?'
Olekmar nods.
Olekmar says 'He can.'
Molug booms 'Ask or no?'
Olekmar says 'You would prefer the half-man to my trusty dog?'
Molug rumbles 'Dog stinky and is my mother's.'
Shnoopy the beagle growls at you. Hey, two can play it that way!
Asel looks at Olekmar.
This halfling is of a roughly standard height for his race. He has very dark gray hair, but still has the curly locks typical of his kin. Nut-brown skin is strangely contrasted by olive-green eyes. Bushy eyebrows arch upward, giving him a permanently surprised expression. A tattoo of a leprechaun decorates his right forearm. The rest of that arm is covered with scars reminiscent of burns. A budding belly protrudes slightly from
the rest of his body, possibly explained by the aura of alcohol that hovers around him.
He has led a sheltered life.
Asel is in excellent condition.
Molug rumbles 'Half-man smells just as bad as dog.'
Asel gets a shot of whiskey from a small cloth purse.
A nymph flies in.
Asel drinks whisky from a shot of whiskey. ===Whisky from Whiskey?
Molug points at Asel excitedly.
===
We hunt for a while, and for our first break, I ask Asel if he wants some ducks. He says yes and when I return, Olekmar makes a few jibes involving cow.
===
Olekmar tells the group 'You really should try the beef.'
Olekmar tells the group 'It's delicious.'
You tell your group 'You mean.'
Olekmar tells the group 'I can't help my tastes, bull-man.'
You tell your group 'Bad elf-thing.'
You tell your group 'Beef nasty.'
You tell your group 'Steak is better.'
Olekmar tells the group 'If it makes you feel better, I make certain Hyando and the other butchers only serve me the flesh of diseased or plagued cattle.'
You tell your group 'Much better. Steak still taste many better, though.'
===
I was surprised that Asel's smart-ass self didn't comment on this, but he might have been AFK.
===
You wake and stand up.
Asel is sleeping here.
Olekmar is sleeping here.

Asel is sleeping here.
Olekmar is sleeping here.
Demonstrating your strength, you draw back your fist and slam it into the ground!
Olekmar wakes and stands up.
Olekmar gets a tin canteen from a Big Ol'Pack Sack.
Olekmar drinks water from a tin canteen.
Olekmar puts a tin canteen in a Big Ol'Pack Sack.
Olekmar goes to sleep.
Asel wakes and stands up.
Molug rumbles 'Help...'
Asel tugs on Molug's fist.
The rain stopped.
Olekmar wakes and stands up.
You withdraw your fist from the ground after a few pulls, and look around sheepishly.
You mutter quietly to yourself.
Asel giggles.
You innocently whistle a tune.
===
More hunting. I get into an altercation with a dryad which I almost lose. When I win, I'm in shock.
===
You tell your group 'Guh duh wanc meh?
Asel looks in a Big Ol'Pack Sack.
Asel looks at you.
Olekmar tells the group 'That'll do, cow. That'll do.'
Olekmar tells the group 'Sleep.'
Molug shouts 'I feel a bit odd.'
You stagger blindly around the room.
You burp loudly.
Olekmar tells the group 'Asel?'
Olekmar tells the group 'Practicing?'
Asel tells the group 'Yep.'
Asel tells the group 'Stupid guild guard.'
You tell your group 'Double-thief not sneaky nuff?'
Asel tells the group 'What?'
You tell your group 'You thief, but not sneaky?'
You tell your group 'Oh, Mr. Half-Asel. Beagle Shnoopy belongs to my mother.'
Asel pats Shnoopy the beagle on its head.
Asel looks at Shnoopy the beagle.
Asel falls down laughing.
===
Again, we're hunting. I can't take another one, so this conversation and fight occurs.
===
Olekmar tells the group 'Either of you feeling lucky?'
You think long and hard about the issue.
You mull over the idea at hand, asking for patience.
You ponder the question.
You feel your pulse slow down.
Molug quietly breaks wind...
You shrug.
Olekmar goes to sleep.
Asel shakes his head.
Olekmar tells the group 'Get ready to run.'
Asel tells the group 'Why?'
===
We fight the dryad. Olekmar flees and I decide to just fight it out raged. We both end up with double-digit health percentage, leading to a mutual understanding of the near-death experience.
===
You tell your group 'Buh hug.'
Olekmar tells the group 'Yuh.'
You belch and pass out.
You go to sleep.
You tell your group 'Feels not so good, eh?'
Olekmar tells the group 'Not so good at all.'
Olekmar tells the group 'I nominate Asel as the backup.'
You tell your group 'Half-Asel vacant in head many.'
Olekmar tells the group 'I see.'
Asel tells the group 'No.'
Asel tells the group 'You are better at it though?'
Asel tells the group 'I would die fast.'
You tell your group 'Asel-thief fast and tricky, though.'
Asel tells the group 'True.'
===
This probably would have continued, but my parents were shrieking at me to get off, so it came to an end without further event.
