    If everyone did the same, no matter what it was, AR would become a very generic place. If everyone was a fire giant berserker screaming stuff all the time, it would lose it's weirdness.

    I was told by an imm to tone it down with regards to the ebonics and my background (I took the fresh prince theme song and replaced things like "west philadelphia" with "darkhaven"). I'm toning down the ebonics. I deleted the background.

    alright but just consider it this way, you're taking a cliche that a lot of people will recognize and putting into into a totally fantasy game.

    People dont play games to be reminded of the real world (unless you play WoW, and they reference anything and everything) so why not try to come up with an original idea that has the same kind of quality that fresh prince had. And I dont mean it was good or bad by quality either. just what its inherent quality is.
