    Kalist, it looks to me like Janae tried to backstab/steal or pry from Rosellin here so the ward attacked back and woke Rosellin up. Last mage I played, same thing happened to me at one point. Blackjacked and the guy tried to pry my weapon but weapon ward stopped it.

    Yeah, mages have death ward prompts when they use weapon ward. It's all the same though.

    I'd like to hear what Janae did. Because if she tried to pry anything besides a weapon.. should weapon ward still protect?

    The thing that I found strange was that it wasn't the first thing to occur. If you look at it you can see Roselyn attack with her icicle before the ward went off.

    weapon ward protects everything, which is bullshit if you ask me because at most it should cover the shield, but not every other thing they are wearing.
