You would spend six hours to get to this point, or have a macro do stat rolling for this result? Regardless of whether or not you had been able to keep those stats, I can't help but shake my head over this in general.

when you use a roller, you can have presets like ethos, align, new to earth or thera, as its so anagram-ed, and everthing else. its pretty simple to set up in JMC.

just hqave it do no to any bracket with a low number like [83], and yes to the target highet number like [94].

you find the highest number by rolling to find the highest of each stat. each stat can only be modified by 2 points during rolling, so if you hit 16 and 18 in str, 18 is the highest.

get all the highest numbers on all the stats, add that togetther, and then use that in conjunction with [xx] bracket y/n to get it.

this is how someone gets full stats at the start of the game without doing anything other than turning their client on and going to sleep while it rolls.

I am aware of the concept. Still doesn't mean I don't shake my head over it.

Forgive me for being old-schooled, and believing that the true potential of a character is determined by the one who plays it, not some silly statistics. Typically, I get enough statistics equipment that being one or two notches below 'perfect' to begin with doesn't matter in the long run. Indeed, I would argue that this practice is a WOMBAT.

I might roll charactets for an hour tops, then take a lesser number... Ten hp isnt gonna break me.

you also dont dicrt kick in a fight, because that would be "low" yes?

nadrin, consider that you are as perfectly skilled as your opponent. you both are taking warriors, and you end up winning with 20 hp left. Suppose they had -2 hp at the end of round. if they had taken the time for 10 more hp, suddenly they are 8 hp left in the round, and if their attacks hit during the combat round before yours, consider yourself dead, looted and 1 less life, maybe even a constitution loss. all of that puts you on the slippery slope of being "behind" the other player in terms of available resources to win, unless you happen to get luck and kill them.
