    It's a terrible log. Behelros just stood their eating rounds unsanced. Those are the only frigging kills I get because everyone else just runs until dupes drop.

    well it is the smartest thing to do after all, your dupes are like what 90% your damage? If they just stood and fought with your dupes it would be really painful unless they guess how long your dupes last and then wait a tick or two before they fall to fight you.

    Anyways hope you get some great logs.

    Dude. That was not an op illu. That was being a punching bag.

    Some things you should consider.

    1) Use aura
    2) Flee earlier
    3) Don't lag yourself with dirt kick if you don't have aura
    4) Hide behind the Justice

    You couldn't flee because you lagged yourself. You died in three rounds because you didn't use aura. You died because you tried to fight an illusionist toe-to-toe. Flee/murder your way to victory.

    Illithids are resistant to beating aka blunt attacks and look how much damage you did now if you would of fled switched to a SLASHING weapon and used AURA along with letting the Justice do his job I would think it would of tipped the scales in your favor. only thing you had to do after that is not get wanted yourself and make sure Zit cant run away/word then gate.

    I know alot easier said than done but you will get him sooner or later. Good luck Behelros!!!!

    Why care about the dupe durations when they get to put down beatings like that without having to derive their damage from hit/dam.

    You care about dupe durations because not everyone is going to stand there and just gobble up multiple rounds of unsanced dupe damage.

    When I had to fight an illusionist as a warrior, it was one of the most frustrating fights ever. Almost as frustrating as fighting a healer. What you do is: run off their dupes, then engage. What the illusionist does is: get dupes, engage, run away.

    Most people will run circles or squares and flee the moment you attack them until your dupes fade. That's why illus care about dupe duration.

    In addition, if they have no idea where a person is. They need a little time to gather the dupes and then find them. If you don't find your target in three - four ticks after gainind the dupes, you basically have to restart the process.
