Now, I know I could have worn a mace and probably should have ran a bit further. shrug. Now I did decently enough, but how in the hell is an uncabaled elf invoker supposed to handle that without medic/restorer? pretty sickening.
I'm disappointed in the low damage of the icicle and ice shield, but perhaps he was wearing ridiculous amounts of saves. You can get ~60-70 pretty easily if you know the items. if you're in a fight and the room is clear, go for the ice storm.
hellstream is a subpar choice when you can hit a vuln and take less lag time for it. hellstream will get you two rounds of retaliation vs icicle or ice storm's one round before you can flee or cast again.
