Our stories by my reckoning (as Fheona) converge again. Prelude:

I, Fheona, am an ex-Officer of Justice, discharged for inactivity but have an otherwise clean record. I come back to learn this, after finally managing to cure my old insomnia... Never thought I'd sleep so long nor so soundly. I spoke with Dhua about returning, she said that I must reach pinnacle before she would speak with me further. So, I'm along doing my own thing...

Nagisslhu is an illithid. I don't know much about him, but he's clearly an applicant of Legion. He demanded I purchase protection one time, and I thought to myself, "Dhua would KILL me for such a thing, it would nullify my chances of getting back in, and besides, I doubt he can kill me."

So, when Nagisslhu demanded I buy protection, I was 44th rank, still working towards pinnacle. I didn't say a word, just continued with what I was doing. He comes to me as a shadow, while I'm fighting the warlock in Unlit City, so I run and then make it somewhere and decide to fight it out. This initial round results in his death, and I proudly accept that I have a contract on my head for killing him. A couple of other fights have happened since, and though one of them could have resulted in my death, he it was who fled from them both times. He has yet to best me... And the most recent fight, of but one engagement, is what follows. Neither of us died, but again he it was who fled and was hurt the most.

A muddy ground
The mud here is extremely thick. You feet sink in at least 6 inches as you

Don't know why I didn't dispel the illusions first and instead used the hellstreams immediately. As you can see, he wasn't doing much to me, but my weapon was doing most of the damage. 7/4 holy avenger ftw.


And Nagisslhu, I know you've seen me quit out quite a bit (including this time). My laptop battery was dying this time, and I needed to plug it in (hard to do during a fight when I can't keep my eyes off the screen). Sometimes there's too high a chance that something beyond my control will cause my death. It's one thing to die because I'm stupid or not skilled, but another to die from things outside the scope of the realms, especially when I can prevent it.
