Rensumi Barrier -

In an instance like that you can throw your dual wielded weapon at them then wield a new one since you were raged. Then you could have berserked for extra health if you didn't already have it. This way you can start doing magical damage.

Loire Barrier -

Wearing black iron halberd, no-drop so im assuming that means no throw, that's a pretty good idea though.

I see no other use for the damned throw function. It is not as if throwing a shield knocks them down or anything. So I find it all rather pointless. Useful in that circumstance though.

lmauge Barrier -

maybe one thing to consider is killing the stallion to get u out of rage, also using as many things you could do to deplete his mana. Wild smash, keep on head butting not saying you could have won this, but at least something to think about if in this situation again instead of giving up mid fight.

I used heavy tomahawk, 22 average (chop dmg axe, gnome vuln) + whip of torture (24 average, gnome vuln) with 48 damroll in weretiger and 52 hitroll, murder fleeing gnome mage with barrier, 0 hits blocked, sometimes i hit 6 hits a round and i still can't survive long enough to deplete his mana.

Barrier is cool!

Think chop is slash. You don't chop with a hammer, you chop with a cleaver or knife.

yeah im 99% chop is slash type damage.

and as deadzero said you don't chop with a hammer but you do chop with an axe and an axe has a bladed edge last time I checked

From my illithid days, I can tell you chop is 100% slash.

alright, good to know, i was mislead by something:P but the point remains, barrier is still too easymode to use. It should be a tactical spell, not something that you can use in every fight from the start.

It's not easy mode. Don't rage like a n00b, then switch to a magic weapon.

ergorion, i'm pretty sure i got more PK skill than you do, probably Loire as well. Easy to say - switch to magic weapon, it works against Caidolese somewhat, because you can use wild weapons so that you can buy Darkhaven semi-decent weapons and also use other sorts of flails for an example vs her.

Try your "pro tactics" against Eloret, i dare you. Switch to magic weapon? Name some that would actually be useful enough vs him? You can't use some gimp 15 average weapon against an invoker who bumps out massive dmg to you.

Regardless You need to hurt Eloret and if magic weapons work then use it. Flee murder tactic works well.

innedus Barrier -

Barrier is nice but it is definetly beatable with magic weapons. There are many magic weapons that could have been used against caidolese in that fight.

First of all, Elves are vuln to iron... Secondly you can't change weapons when raged... Throw would work, but black iron halberd is no drop, so I'm assuming that means you can't throw it.
