I'd be surprised that Olyn didn't use cleave if it weren't for the fact that he doesn't generally carry a weapon. No bloodlust either, but I suppose both of those are a bit unfair.

Also, Immortals can't really die, it's part of the mechanics of the ROM base I think. Only ways an Immortal can really die are:

1. They delete (in which case it's permanent), or:

2. Another Immortal higher up (or possibly the Immortal themselves) slays that Immortal.

If you are so "smart" about ROM's then you should know that you can write a command to make yourself mortal for a given time in less than 15 lines of C and i think AR has something like that
