That should have been your first thought...I hate fighting illusionists because once they land a spell or two it could easily be over in two more rounds. But I suck at them as it is lol!

Also, don't stick around when someone has a charmed or duplicated marine. It's going to hurt. (I used marine duplicates a lot when playing illusionists, and I remember someone managing to destroy me because they'd charmed one of the marines and managed to deal a ton of damage. It might have been Tzakrid or some other vampire, but it could also have been one of the more powerful dark-knights. In any case, marines hit pretty hard and you don't want to be facing them if you can't handle the damage. And a necromancer is the least sturdy of all classes from what I've seen.)
One round of unsanced damage will do a lot better against him than a rend or two. Stack the health gear, get some saves and you should have plenty of chances to dispel.
