Beginning of the Tower Path
Amongst the twisted and withered trees and bushes a small ancient trail
makes its way towards the foreboding tower. The ground of the path is
beaten and dry, well established over centuries of use by those who choose
or were chosen to make the visit to the bastion of evil. Small boulders
litter the area between sparse trees and even less common bushes and
shrubbery and serve as cover for a number of soldiers who have laid siege to
this citadel for months. Northwest you see one of the five strange obelisks
that pierce the valley floor. You can see the mighty tower rise above the
trees to your north, and the steep mountains enclose you from the east and
west.

This log is heavily edited over 660 pages. If it looks kinda choppy thats why, so I will give a brief desc of what happened. Grunchel is deathmarked and sitting in the herald area in seringale. Two justices are on 1 in my range and 1 not, big problem. Now I spoke with Grunchel, part not shown cuz I didn't have the logger on asking him to fight me. He didn't want to so I told him I would be forced to attack him anyway. He replies he just wants to eat pancakes. I go to seringale he baits me by coming out of the herald area, I attack and I am fighting for my life in seringale.

The next snippet is where Anisa and Teav decide to invade, I get lucky enough and kill Anisa, targeted her since she was the weakest hoping she would log off no such luck. They keep coming and bring in Grunchel I have no idea if they asked for help or he decided he was ready to fight now, since I had two justices on my ass. I am sure the fact that I hid in my cabal path will come under question. They invaded multiple times and I came to defend multiple times, yes there were instances where I tried to bait them to come onto the path and I did run there a few times to get away from them. Guardian died two or three times during their assault. At one point not sure if its on this post, anisa grunchel and teav all invaded and I was able to boot all three out, was hoping to confine teav but just ucked it up.

    Geez, does anybody besides Justice know about their henchmen these days? One henchman would have made a HUGE difference, probably leveling the playing field or even giving Chandran a slight edge. I can't recall if the helpfile for henchmen is public domain (i.e. uncaballed characters may read it), so I won't say more.

    He did use his henchman eventually. I guess he forgot that part out, along with the parts where he hides in his cabal even though it isn't being attacked.

    Not sure what is going on with the level 50s these days. Airelyn did the same thing. Start trouble, then when a justice taps your guard to bring you out of hiding.... you just sit at your guard, even though there's no one actually in your cabal or on your path. Why are people so scared to die. Sheesh.

    I've looked over some old logs, the guard sitting isn't new. A log from several years back shows a Legion invoker camping at the Shadowdemon Necromancer under the exact same circumstances.

    Hiding in the cabal isn't new either, neither is ignoring it when it is under attack. If I remember correctly, one of the things which pip hated while he was still playing was how nobody would come to defend against him when he invaded. Granted, getting into a fight with pip, especially on his own terms, might have been dangerous and even suicide, but the rules of cabal warfare specifically state to not encourage or ignore attacks on your cabal guardian.

    I can't recall what the rule is on entering your own cabal, but I remember immediately after one of my Knights was inducted and I was shown around various points in Valour, the Executor stopped in the Castle and showed me everything. There is one thing in there which I was supposed to look at and memorize, and I was specifically told that unless I needed to look at it ONCE more, I was not to go in there without someone attacking the Holy Knight. And emphasis was added on the ONCE part, he said it was fine for me to look around a second time to make sure I knew where everything was at, but after that I must STAY OUT of the castle.

    I can't believe no one else noticed this problem here. Chandran left the realms when the guardians in his cabal were dead? That is a big no no. You do not quit out until your guardians are back alive. Especially when you already killed one of your attackers. You have to insure the stability of your cabal before quitting out. There are rare exceptions to that, but those exceptions are only viable if you have already died defending.
