You tell Teav 'Me have a question for you.'
You tell Teav 'Why did you not protect my corpse when me died in town the last time. Probably Ona took the last blow with her constable. Either one, me nay sure.'
You tell Teav 'And me items got looted. Wanted corpses are protected are they not?'
Teav tells you 'You attacked me in town, you get nothing returned.'
You tell Teav 'The laws protected anyone within Seringale, except for vampires, those marked with a BOUNTIED flag, anyone carrying powerful cabal items, and INTRUDERS.'
You tell Teav 'Wanted criminals ARE protected by law are they not?'
Teav tells you 'I don't understand what point you're trying to make. '
You tell Teav 'Me point is to firstly clarify if wanted criminals are protected by the law and as such, the corpses should be protected by the Justice. Of which IF I am not wrong. Correct me if I a
m wrong. Upon death, the Justice will judge his offense commi.'
You tell Teav 'And to confiscate a certain number of items.'
Teav tells you 'If you attack a Justice in town, you get nothing. '
Teav tells you 'Period.'
Teav tells you 'Jaux thought you brave. I on the other hand thought it was pretty stupid. '
You tell Teav 'Me do not care what Jaux thinks. Me do not fear the flag if it can bring your death.'
You tell Teav 'But Me be pretty sure there is no law stating if me were to attack a JUSTICE specifically, me nay be protected by law.'
Teav tells you 'You should 'fear the flag''
Teav tells you 'It'll just cause you a lot more pain and sadness. '
Teav tells you 'Then again I don't mind teaching little Legions their lesson until they learn.
*** took out some of the banter about him spanking Legionaires and teaching Legions a lesson.********
Teav tells you 'What rule do you not understand that you need clarification, so you won't break?'
Teav tells you 'In that regard, I am happy to answer any questions you have.
You tell Teav 'Me question was simple. Who looted me corpse that time? Are corpses of wanted criminals free for the taking?'
You tell Teav 'So in future, me know that a wanted criminal dies in town, me can take all his items.'
You tell Teav 'Simple question?'
You tell Teav 'And me be following the rules.'
You tell Teav 'Or rather, the laws.'
Teav tells you 'No, you can't loot the corpse of wanted criminals.'
You tell Teav 'When why was my corpse looted?'
Teav tells you 'Who looted it?'
You tell Teav 'That be your job to find out after me died isnt it? Ona was on sight, being lawful she could have answered you.'
You tell Teav 'Robhyn was on sight too.'
You tell Teav 'Site, pardon me.'
Teav tells you 'Not sure what your complaint is, sounds like you're upset you died and you're looking for a reason to get me into trouble? Which isn't a reason at all since I know the rules I am bo
und by.'
Teav tells you 'I'm not responsible for telling you where your items went, or why they went there.'
You tell Teav 'My questioning is simple. A wanted criminal dies in Seringale, you allowed his items to be full looted, and did nothing to protect his corpse.'
You tell Teav 'Nor attempted it.'
Teav tells you 'I've said many times, you attacked me in town, you get nothing returned. '
You tell Teav 'So if you were to say that, am me right to say this? If a criminal attacks a Justice in town, me be free to loot his corpse?'
Teav tells you 'Put it this way, law 2 says if you loot corpses, you are in violation of the law.'
Teav tells you 'Respect the scrolls. '
You tell Teav 'Then you contradict yourself by allowed others to loot me corpse. Me thought you said that me attack the Justice so me corpse no longer be protected?'
Teav tells you 'You can make up as much dribble as you want, and say it came from my mouth.'
You tell Teav 'Well, Me be trying to clarify what you be saying.'
You tell Teav 'So me make no misunderstanding.'
Teav tells you 'I think I have been quite clear.'
You tell Teav 'Which is? If me were to attack a Justice, me corpse be allowed to be looted? Because me be a wanted criminal that attacked a justice?'
You tell Teav 'Correct?'
Teav tells you 'I don't think the law says that. '
You tell Teav 'So why was me corpse allowed to be looted? Me be questioning your actions that day.'
Teav tells you 'That is your problem. Questioning my actions, why don't you worry about your own actions?'
You tell Teav 'Because me be a good citizen of Seringale and me want the rights given to me by the Hall of Justice. Nay be shifting the focus of the question Teav. Me was not properly protected by
an enforcer of law.'
You tell Teav 'That be me problem.'
Teav tells you 'Attacking a Justice in town is hardly being a good citizen. '
You tell Teav 'Upon me death, me become a good citizen once again.'
You tell Teav 'Am Me not a good citizen now/'
Teav tells you 'If you think so. '
You tell Teav 'But that be beside the point.'
Teav tells you 'You're not a criminal, that doesn't make you a model citizen either.'
You tell Teav 'That is beside the point, Me be protected by the law. '
You tell Teav 'Does not matter whether me be model or not.'
I'm not sure what Teav was trying to say actually. It seems as if there is something special to getting wanted attacking a justice vs getting wanted for attacking a non-justice. Full loot for attacking a Justice?
Is there such a difference? My understanding was that corpses of Wanted criminals are protected by the law, am I wrong? Perhaps I can learn more about the law with this incident. Comments anyone?

So if the constable gets the kill, when Teav would walk in, he should have the guard loot the corpse fully, if he isn't there the corpse is a free for all. If you attack Teav, is it his duty to protect your corpse in town yes it is, like Nadrin says if he walks in and sees someone loot it they should get flagged. Next time don't get killed lol problem solved
And Chandran, I know for a fact you are NOT Teav, unless you're multi-ing. You fought Teav a number of times (poorly I might add). Sober up and don't get stoned before posting, for god's sake.
Thanks for giving yourself away though. I can tell who you are now.
Is the corpse of a WANTED criminal protected by the law? Yes.
Is Teav obligated to immediately go to your corpse to watch for looting? No.
Do you have the option of requesting Teav do so? Yes.
Did you? No.
Did Teav see anyone break the law by removing items from your corpse? No.
Move along people, nothing to see here.
