    all things considered, dwarves, especially zerks, are mage killers. You're talking high health, then resistance on top of that, then with rage getting back half your health. I mean what does anyone really expect? Also, why would you water cube when your only defense is parry, vs a raged dwarf zerk?

    He actually tried jet steam early on when he first started attacking me. Problem is, he can't stand up to rage in any way. he just didn't have enough hp or defenses.

    If you want a body of water, there is a way for an invoker to create one on demand you know. It's called create spring, and it's especially effective in some situations, like leading your opponent to a noexit room.

    Also, why the hell didn't the berserker try to use headbutt at ANY point in this log? Aside from the times the meteor swarm was summoned, I would have been immediately trying to cause delirium in my opponent, because he's a spellcaster. A pure caster is almost dead if they acquire delirium or silence/blasphemy.

    As for the invoker, I don't know what was going on in his mind here. Yes, Rondak had no aura. But you didn't properly handle the situation. You didn't exploit the vulnerability, you didn't properly exploit the fact that he was raged (hint: you didn't have the right spell(s) up), and you certainly didn't act the way I would have.

    I had already been skirmishing with him for an 45 minutes? It wasn't needed at that point, I was way outdamaging him. I wanted him to hit me so that he might stay in combat longer rather then fleeing sooner. Why do you think I went after him raged without sanc at the end? I was dealing MUCH more damage then he was and I have more then twice his hp when I am raged I am sure.

    im not sure if you've noticed but create spring doesnt follow you around like a pet, and practically any dwarf or duergar will stay out of a room with a spring in it for this very reason, unless the invoker sits there spamming jet steam, in which case a good enter;murder can get you initiative dual wielding damage rounds, a small price to pay for getting jet steamed.

    just stating the obvious.

    When he first engaged me he fled the first round and then came back and prepped a room in the murmuring mists with Springs, and I was outdamaging him raged vs jet steam. Just wasn't enough.
