An awful-smelling tunnel
The tunnel is a little wider still here, but there's still a
claustrophobic feel to it all. Trickling water can be heard faintly, and
the wet walls all around you seem to suggest that the water isn't terribly
far away. The worst part of the dark, roughly-hewn tunnel however is not
the humidity or the cramped spaces. It's the smell. Whether rotten eggs or
rotting flesh, something has definitely died here. You hope you're not
next.

Forgotten Caverns of Platinum

deep into the mountain rock. The walls of this cave are streaked with dull
greyish-white veins of platinum metal. Lumpy nuggets and fist-sized chunks
of rock are strewn about from previous excavations. A pair of tracks have
been worn into the muddied gravel that lines the mine shaft floor, which
leads deeper east into the platinum mine or west out into the web of
tunnels.
