Seyvv's Background

Seyvv was born in Timaran. His father was a fisherman who owned his own boat, his mother a house cleaner for the wealthy. He was instilled with a good work ethic at an early age and adored his parents, but it was a dull and meagre existence filleting fish and mending nets. He dreamed of what lay beyond the end of the dock, or even beyond the edge of town. Just before his twelfth birthday his mother caught the pox, and unfortunately passed. His father took it particularly hard and fell into endless melancholy, and the bottom of a tankard. The boat was sold to pay the rent and the dreams of Seyvv's future adventuring days at sea were lost. Seyvv tried to keep the family together, stealing bits of fruit and bread from the market and performing small parlour tricks for pieces of gold but it wasn't enough his father would drink the profits before they were even made. Then one night the inevitable happened and his father never woke from his drunken slumber. Seyvv was forgotten, forced to the street by circumstance. He decided to head to Seringale to chance a new beginning and leave behind his past. A man named Faulkner noticed his hardship and offered him a place to stay. With nowhere else to turn Seyvv accepted hoping he could turn his fate around in this new town.
