By the bronze beard can be heard from the tavern below. My earliest
memories as a young lad hearing my father and his friends laugh and joke
about the good old days as they rest their weary bones from the mines. A
sense of pride was always felt within our family for we were known as the
finders of ore. My father always seemed to have a knack to find and forge
the best armor. His large steady hands were always on display for anyone to
challenge him. On a dark and stormy night, my father came home to find the
tavern in shambles, glass bottles broken. Precious firebreather spilling
everywhere and he tells me he found me hiding in a barrel of beer. What we
later learned is a pack of horsemen came through our town searching for gold
and other precious metals we had hidden away. The greed of many will always
lead to death. My father imparted the wisdom of searching for others who
used our ore for good and to dispatch greed and chaos to only bring balance
within the realms. He sent me on my way, with my trusty axe and a pint to
make my mark on the world and to restore what was taken.
Description:
A wide faced dwarf stands before you, smelling of mutton and beer. A
flowing fiery orange mane of braided hair falls to the small of his back.
Equally as long and fiery is a massive beard that hangs just above his belly
button. His rotund stomach protrudes far enough where he barely can see his
own feet. Brilliant blue eyes remind you of the calm ocean. Many scars
from numerous brawls are on his face and crooked nose that appears to have
been broken numerous times sits beneath very large, bushy auburn brows.
i quit because I thought something was bugged. in our last two fights i was only doing one attack per round and even if I should have been in superior combat style (me in drunken vs you defensive) my prompt was red and I was getting slaughtered
the first time that happened I ran away and healed. I was like “weird maybe that was a one off” so I fought you again but same thing happened. i quit and filed a bug report
just now I realize what actually happened. for the fatality I put your head on a pike. for rp reasons I then wielded your head on a pike (I held it up and yelled - I was pretending in my head that I was a predator holding up a spine)
the problem is I forgot to remove the pike and monks don’t learn like so in the next two fights I was actually wielding your head on a pike and hitting you with it
really dumb move on my part but also super crazy to actually picture xhao wielding your head on a pike and hitting you with it
