This duel was close. I wasn’t quite able to finish him off before he could heal. There was a bash towards the end that missed somehow, if that hadn’t missed I think I’d have won.

But the biggest and most glaring thing about this duel just confirms what I have been suspecting for some time now. Someone gutted hobble. The biggest strength of a low dex giant race, is being able to hobble. But someone removed sidearm smash/stun volley/pincer attack. I have not had a single one proc in months. Which is absolute nonsense that it has been nerfed without an announcement of any kind. I have been asking the immortals if this was the case and been completely ignored for weeks.
If hobble was changed, why were we not told? If it was changed by mistake and just needs reverted back then that’s fine, but why have every single time I’ve tried to point that out just been ignored? It is definitely having a negative impact on my ability to be successful in the game, because I rely heavily on hobble because it’s one of the few skills stone giant warrior is actually good at.

Look at how many times Erelanidd fled while hobbled and in an inferior style and never once did sidearm smash proc. It very well could have won me this duel.
And for the record, hobble does not appear to remove fencing.

Also, fencing is bonkers. But that’s old news at this point. Ask pretty much any of the 93 other duels I’ve had if they could go an entire fight against me in inferior combat style and weapon type disadvantage and win. And I am aware of the spices, but chose not to use them, before someone brings that up. I take responsibility for that lol.
