There is something a bit different about this particular specimen, however. His skin does not have the normal bluish tint seen in most Illithid, instead more of a darker gray, and does not appear to glisten as though it were moist. It looks as though it is worn and dried, almost to the point of what looks like a dry rot. It can be hard to tell one of these creatures from the rest, but upon inspeciton, you would venture this one is a male. He stands a bit taller than most other Illithid you have ever seen, despite the fact that his posture appears to be quite lax, almost hunched. He seems very slender, almost to the point of emaciated, being very thin for one of his kind. His facial tentacles cover a sharp beak, almost resembling what you would expect to see on an octopus. The overall appearance of his person, and wears seems to be far less than kept. From the look of his gaunt facial features, and nearly tattered garments, one might get the impression that he has little to no concept of hygiene or personal appearance. Surrounding him is the stench of long since dead flesh. He has just opened up his eyes to the world. Trahzi has some small wounds and bruises.

There is something a bit different about this particular specimen, however. His skin does not have the normal bluish tint seen in most Illithid, instead more of a darker gray, and does not appear to glisten as though it were moist. It looks as though it is worn and dried, almost to the point of what looks like a dry rot. It can be hard to tell one of these creatures from the rest, but upon inspeciton, you would venture this one is a male. He stands a bit taller than most other Illithid you have ever seen, despite the fact that his posture appears to be quite lax, almost hunched. He seems very slender, almost to the point of emaciated, being very thin for one of his kind. His facial tentacles cover a sharp beak, almost resembling what you would expect to see on an octopus. The overall appearance of his person, and wears seems to be far less than kept. From the look of his gaunt facial features, and nearly tattered garments, one might get the impression that he has little to no concept of hygiene or personal appearance. Surrounding him is the stench of long since dead flesh. He has just opened up his eyes to the world. Trahzi is in excellent condition.

that they may never enslave others so easily again. As word got out of
the curse upon them, all but a few of their slaves revolted, and the mind
flayers were forced to leave the halls of Enthema to find more. Illithids
now walk among Serin, seeking to enslave the feeble minds of all its
inhabitants, to return them to work in their crystal mines, and to "satisfy
their hunger for eating fresh brains."
