Born from the lineage of the were-tigers, Paya had been pledged to the
defence of the woodlands from the day of birth. Keeping in line with the
path of his fore-fathers, he was set on the course to inherit the skills and
ways of the ranger, as the only means of life for many others like him.
Life was peaceful and all was well, before tragedy struck within the very
heart of the woods that he dwelled upon. Everything that he held dear was
taken away from him, when the homes were razed, plundered and kinsmen slain
by roving marauders that not even the adept fighters were any match for.
Being one born of the wild, he was saved by his absence during his annual
solitary hunt, only to find new hatred to be borne against the destructive

Poised before you is a rugged-looking human male that seemed to have just
appeared out of the wilderness. Traces of twigs and leaves are evident on
the wooden armor covering his entire being. He has medium length hair that
stretches backwards to the edge of his neck and sharp greenish eyes that
appear to bore straight into your soul. His skin is tinted with a brownish
hue and noticeably faint stripes forms in elongated patterns across his
body. An ivory strung bow made of elmwood is strapped over his slightly
hunched back. You can vaguely make out two faint circular scar marks on the
edge of his neck.
