Title: the Unholy Lady
Gender: Female
Level: 50
Class: drow dark-knight

Background history:

Description (commended):

The slender elf-like being before you looks like a cruel abomination of something utterly evil and vile. Her once pale blue eyes have now become tarnished with bright red cracks of energy, turning them into a fractured mirror of power... A lack of sleep apparent from the heavy sags growing beneath her eyes. Her frost-touched hair seemed to be well-kept at one point despite an obvious hard upbringing, but it falls now over her face as if through some sad attempt she could hide her demonic visage from the world. Her face a volcano of emotion, a haunted soul that stares inward and has now exploded with anger onto the world. One of the most daunting features to mark this figure is that her once unblemished pale elven flesh has now began to decay - pocketed holes cover places of her body, hived out as the infernal energies she calls upon drain her essence. Large enough to create small honeycomb caves, a small gathering of locusts have now taken refuge inside of her body. As they wander in and out of their new home to explore the feast of Serin, the elf takes no notice. Her equipment is haphazardly collected and stitched together without much thought, she hides this less social attire together underneath a worn cloak ragged, thick and the color of dirt. Sharpened weapons hang from her hands without focus, a once ferocious obsession that has come untethered - the dark whispers of magic bumbling from her cracked lips.

I really respected Aewyn was willing to take on any fight regardless of the odds. You were clearly willing to take on any challenge.

    1. Should have stuck with it longer! Were all those necro deaths Beyatik multi-kills?

yea how else you think he got his rating :D
      2. Stfu ronk you literally attacked me every chance you could multiple times after dying and dying you actually killed me...so multi kill no. I never actively chased you. It was funny the last time I killed you. You failed on the triton and I just summoned you to him for fun. You're delusional if you think you are the only one I killed.

Came back, messed up the paladin, got bored.

Played as reckless as possible so that more people would fight, but most would still rather bail.

      Got even more bored.

Was using this char as a practice dummy while figuring out what to make as a "serious char" but I never really got motivated enough. AR seems different, not really feeling the thrill anymore. Can't motivate myself to play seriously at all.

Sorry. Catch ya around some other time perhaps!

It seems when you get bored of things you drop them. What about if you get bored of being bored? Here's an idea - try training skills. You get to set goals plus the constant mental stimulation of rapid fire text all over your screen. That is addicting and that is the opposite of boring

I liked your RP as a mute that wrote notes and emotes. Never fought you because I was working on a new project.

You could always try playing AR like me! Create a great idea for a char -> level up to 35ish -> train like crazy -> level to 50 -> immediately come up for great idea for new char -> make new char and start again.

Lots of dopamine from leveling, training, and can even do some fighting too!
      3. This player was mute? Not my experience with them lol. I couldn't get them to shut up... rofl.

Nadrin, when the character turned, it had no reason to keep it's vow of silence from the monastery...

Yeah I love AR but agree with you Ronk. Came back for a few months this summer and really couldn't get with the new vibe of things. Still love AR tho.

Making the game engaging is always a priority. I think what woulda helped us this summer is if illusionist had been more interesting than like, cast 'hob spark' times a million, and then power levelling literally using your full dupes. I'm not saying it has to be dark souls but there's definitely a need for things to occur that need a response, and not just levelling fully triggered or watching your groupmates push everything over. Overlord mobs have helped quite a bit with that, but there are still cases where you can get a quick level 50 without really playing. Its just boring and overdue a bit more challenge injected, especially high levels

    3. I really, really enjoyed your mute RP before you got turned. Not replying directly to tells and sending scrolls (notes) instead was neat...but the icing on the cake was your esays of writing on the ground when 'talking'. Fricken brilliant. Seriously. Was very much looking forward to seeing what all you did with this character as I had a feeling just based on the effort and creativity you put in to being mute this was going to be a HoE worthy character some day. Really sad to see you get turned, and then deleted.

I lost all interest when I got turned, I figured I treat this character as a punching bag and practice dummy to get back into PK.

Never figured out what I want to roll for a new attempt at "serious character", hell I was so desperate that I even made a bard at some point. Seems I just need a longer break than a couple of years. Cheers though!

(alias c = lightningcharge target (my old charge alias) and alias v = where $targ - I shoulda NEVER MADE the lightningcharge alias because typoing c over v is what made me turn on sapling lol)

Ouch yeah that’s brutal. Tbh I’d probably never use lightning charge. The risk of fucking up is just way too high. I guess maybe if you’re like, duelling a warlord in the arena? Otherwise no way.

Tell that to the people who get run over like a lawnmower by it though.

Oh yeah totally, it’s pretty cool and I’m sure people kick some serious ass with it but I’d be too wimpy to risk it. Best case scenario you secure a kill. Worst case scenario....
      5. I think I got two kills before I got turned and both were with lightning charge. It is awesome.
