A Tour of Mocker's Tavern

posted on 2016-08-13 16:47:38
Outside Mocker's Tavern
+-+-+-+-+| Owned by a cooperative consisting of the Heralds and
| || the Bards' Guild, Mocker's Tavern is by far the most
S-+ F| popular place to be when the sun goes down. There is
| | always a small group of people hovering about the entrance
+-@-+-F| like flies on a corpse. The tavern, from the outside,
| | seems dull with no vivid colors or images, just a schedule
S-+-S| of performers hanging close to a small wooden door. Gentle
| | music softly emanates from the semi-opened door long
*-+-*| with mirthful laughter and general happiness. Going east
---------+ leads you back to the Main Street. To the west is the
Mocker's Tavern.

[Exits: east west]
(Charmed) A venomous king cobra is here, ready to strike.
Ulsa is resting here.
(White Aura) Istina the usher sits here nursing a bottle of wine.
Eliza the venomous king cobra slithers around on the ground.

Fluttery of the wings arouse tiny vibrant orange hairs coating her frame.
Two slanted orbs shadowed by black lashes are planted on each side of her
ellipse-shaped head. An ivory coloured bill cracked with age extends from
her face. A pair of hallowed holes rest just above an elongated neck
connecting to a petite body. Brightly painted feathers surround a barely
visible breast lacking any form of protection.
She has begun to do some traveling.
Ulsa has a few scratches.

Ulsa is using:
<Stuff>

Ulsa's hunger grazes her.

A cream tart suddenly appears.

Ulsa gets a cream tart.

Rimath the trader auctions 'Valiel has auctioned an ice staff for 10 minutes, minimum bid 1000 coins.'

Ulsa eats a cream tart.

Ulsa shivers uncomfortably.

You say 'Did the encounter tire you?'

Ulsa says 'Sweet tooth.'

You say 'Oh, you have one?'

Ulsa says 'It is the blood, Istina is not fond of it.'

Rimath the trader auctions 'Place yer bids! a steel-shod magus staff is being auctioned for 1000 gold!'

Cyprian nods sagely.

Ulsa stands up.

Istina the usher sips at his wine.
Ulsa flies west.

Istina the usher sips at his wine.
A Cloakroom
+-+-+| Just inside the entryway of the Mockers Tavern, this
|| room is where all of the tavern visitors hang their cloaks
S-+| and overcoats while enjoying the warmth of the cozy tavern
|| fire. The occasional thieving pickpocket can be seen
@-S-+| shuffling through the pockets of loose coats and cloaks,
|| hoping to find a trinket or two left behind by a forgetful
S-+| patron. The floor is covered with puddles of water from
|| some of the dripping wet cloaks.

Ulsa mutters something quietly to herself.

Ulsa says 'For entertainment purposes?'

A mouse is standing here sawing furiously at its extraordinarily tiny
fiddle. Its playing is abominable, but the violin's soundbox is tiny enough
that it doesn't make too much noise. The mouse doesn't appear to notice all
of the mistakes it is making as it continues to play and ignore you.

Ulsa agrees absolutely.

You drink ale from a mug of ale.

The town clock tolls once as the evening begins.

You say 'I'll be honest. I haven't. But I've brought it plenty of milk before.'

You say 'And there's a tip jar near the poker table.'
