The boy called Len
Len was a small child, smaller than the other kids around him. He grew up in an ordinary neighborhood in Seringale, the streets his home. His parents poor to begin with struggled to keep food on the table, and he soon took to stealing to get enough food. Many times was he punished, but as a child it was never too severe. Little did Len know that his parents suffered for what he did, until one day enough was enough. Coming home, he found his parents being sought by the guards, and with his father jailed for his petty thefts, his mother chose to move, taking him with him. The mountain village they arrived in was totally different than what he was used to. The kids were even bigger than him now, and they weren't nice. Daily beatings taught Len a new lesson, but one day that was to change. You see, there was a monastery near the little village he lived in and he had to pass by it nearly daily in his travels to go to his studies. It was one day like the rest, that while running from bullies he chose to climb the walls of the monastery. Upon gaining entry to the monastery, he was soon lost inside, for the place seemed massive. It was when he was sure the place must be haunted that he was food and water. When he was done, he was handed a broom, and when he tried found. The old master having observed the entire thing approached him with to leave, he was struck by a rod across his back. It seemed he was to pay for his food by sweeping the room he had tumbled into, but when he was done the old man showed him around. "Return tomorrow" was all he said, and with those words his life began anew. His training was rigid and harsh, but he learned quickly. He learned to master his mind, and he learned to master his body, day in and day out. The bullies didnt bother him any longer, for one fateful encounter put them in their place, but that is not important to this story, not anymore. You see, as part of his training he was taught to find balance in all things, and he spent as much time in the shrine meditating on his learnings as he did chores and training his body. Years came and went, and the boy Len grew into a man. On the day his master taught him of the power of tattooing the beasts upon his body, did his journey really begun. Upon obtaining his first tattoo a coiling snake he was then given the name Mazin. It's from here that tale of Mazin unfolds.

Description:

Standing before you is a man who could not be more ordinary. Plain-faced with no discernible markings save for what is obviously a brand on his forehead. The brand is difficult to make out, but appears to be some kind of small mammal. From there you notice his slightly wide nose, his thin lips, and his pale hazel eyes. Finally, this figure is of average height, neither fat nor visibly muscular. His stance seemingly relaxed or unconcerned with his surroundings.

So I was really intrigued when we were talking about merging cabals, and I was prepared to see something cool happen. Along the way during the roleplay it seemed like Szrevan and ther zerker (Forgot his name) were more interested in their leet suits of armor. Then they started saying things in rp that made it impossible for me to push it forward in the rp I created for this character.

Meanwhile the whole time I was thinking that the Keepers no longer had a place in the current AR. We just don't have enough players to support that many cabals, and when most cabals have 1 member who needs a cabal with a mechanic for keeping cabals balanced? With that said, I regret choosing monk, and wasn't really having much fun except for when I was fighting. I have found that I personally am better at playing evil characters these days, because when someone annoys me well, I can murder them if I want. I found myself wanting to make decisions that wouldn't fit with Mazin's rp and was going to delete sooner. Then Ordan applied and I was going to stick around to try and help out the new keeper. With Fenlorn mostly inactive it was lonely being in keepers. With him having deleted, I found no reason to keep this character.

My recommendation is to close keepers they don't have a place in this game any longer, but that is my opinion.

Well thanks for deleting to try to prove your point. We will move forward without you. Gl with your next.

Didn't delete to try to prove my point, I deleted because I wasn't having fun. Hopefully my next will be more fun.

We always seem to butt heads no matter what we play. I agree that Keepers didn't really have a place. I was trying to handle some sort of transition IC but fumbled the ball pretty badly. Monks are fun to play, but frustrating too. Glad you got the experience. And then there was one.
