It was a dark and stormy night in the woods north of Timiran when Pym the
pixie first gazed upon these lands. Frightened and hungry she awoke in a
tiny acorn cradle. She was afraid to move for the sounds she heard and
sights she saw were just too much for her tiny ears and eyes, so she began
to scream. And fire, the fire is all she could remember. She was but a
child even by pixie standards, a runt of the bunch but managed to escape the
fire somehow. Oh so afraid she climbed from the acorn and tried to muster
up the courage to investigate where she was. The trees were gigantic and
even the insects she had to hide from could swallow her in a mere bite! She
began to run, she ran as fast as her tiny legs go carry her until she could
run no more.
Falling to her knees she began to cry. What was she to do? Where was she
supposed to go? No, she told herself. She could not die this way. So she
kept running until she saw a light, a faint light, but a light nonetheless.
She followed the light until she came upon a small wooden cabin and inside
were two ladies sitting in silence writing in scrolls. So Pym being the
curious one she is decided she would crawl under a crack within the door.
She started screaming for help but all this did is seem two annoy the two
women. Perhaps she was not loud enough perhaps she sounded like a mere
insect to their ears? But she kept screaming until she worked up the
courage to clumb upon one of them.
The woman seemed annoyed and began to swat at her, but being persistent she
climbed onto the woman's face. Before the woman could swat Pym to her death
she looked into the mirror and gasped. The woman realized this was no
insect but a tiny child! Pym being frightened fainted and awoke to the
woman tending to her. She spoke so softly it seemed like it was only meant
for the wind to hear. She said "Hello dear child, I am Rimera. What brings
you here?" Pym began to ease up and explain to the lady Rimera what
happened and Rimera smiled and spoke to her once again. "Don't fret young
one, you are safe and welcome here". And that is where Pym stayed until one
day Rimera said "I have watched you grow and play, now it is time to learn".
So she began to study and learned everything Rimera began to teach her. In
time Pym began to love her as a mother and Rimera loved her as her child.
One day during her studies Rimera came to Pym and said, "dear child my time
in this life comes to an end soon, seek out the Heralds and the one called
Lady Vanisse". Pym confused asked why, and Rimera explained that long ago
she too was a but a wayward child and the Heralds gave her purpose in life.
Pym saddened by this news agreed to do what the lady who has taken care of
her and loved her deeply asked of her. Once Rimera passed on from this
world, Pym was grief stricken. Taking all of her courage and learning she
was determined to keep the promise she made to Rimera so she set forth to
lands she had never explored before.
And now a new story begins...
Description (commended):
Soft buzzing sounds radiate from a tiny golden aura happily bouncing
along. As you move closer you notice the aura is a tiny, young lady looking
to be no more than a teenager. Her skin is as pale as alabaster stone, and
her hair shines as blonde as the morning sun. She stands no bigger than a
small bird but her face is stunningly beautiful. Her eyes shine more violet
than the freshest of flowers and her nose is tiny and as cute as a button.
She seems to be wearing nothing more than a fig leaf that has somehow been
sewn into a dress. Tiny wings sprout graciously from her back shining
transparently and flutter uncontrollably.
