As a young boy Tivris grew up in a modest household with a normal family and normal life just outside of Valour. He would laugh and play just like all the other children and he was without a doubt one of the loudest of the bunch. His parents actually had to reprimand him once in a while due to the fact that he interrupted everybody by speaking so much. Tivris learned when to and not to speak as he grew into his teen years while learning the arts of the Paladin guild hall. That is right Tivris was raise in the light and taught the ways of faith. But as often happens a time of horror came into his life. Tivris was out one day on Storm Hill and was fooling around with his friends loudly when he stumbled down an abandoned cavern. The cave was pitch black, darker than the darkest nights Tivris had ever experienced. Out of nowhere Tivris saw a flickering light at one end of the cave and yelled out for help. What he heard in return was quite unexpected. With a roar came a voice "WHO HAS DISTURBED MY SILENCE?!" Tivris, nervous as he was, responded with his name. In the blink of an eye appeared in front of him a tall man with blood dripping from his face and smeared all over his hands and arms. This man picked Tivris up and looked into his eyes and then simply asked Tivris where his home was. Tivris beamed a half smile and told the man. The man sure enough took Tivris to his home and proceeded to tie Tivris down to a pillar inside the house. Tivris at this point knew his mouth had caused him more trouble than he could handle. The man waited until almost sunrise and then as Tivris' parents awoke, he began stabbing them repeatedly. He forced Tivris to watch as his parents were slain in cold blood. Then the man as quickly as he appeared in front of Tivris in the cave, disappeared. Some of the other village folk showed up at the house after a couple of days without sight of the family. They cut Tivris free and began asking questions to which Tivris would not respond. One of the lonely neighbors decided to take Tivris in as his own. The only problem was this was no ordinary neighbor, he was a user of the dark arts. He knew the way into Tivris' heart. Tivris after this terrible tragedy was in a weakened state and the man took advantage to pass his teachings down and from that day forward Tivris learned the ways to break down those he feared or did not understand. After a few years of training Tivris was put to the test by the neighbor but Tivris got out of control casting all types of harmful spells on the man who took him in until the man's body could no longer take the pain. Tivris killed the man and left the village silently in the night looking for his own home and own destiny.

Did Lachras ever delete or inactive? If not then she must still be around somewhere.

After months of thinking about deleting this character I came to the realization recently that I just haven't had the free time to be on AR at all. Whether that will always be the case or not, keeping a level 50 Vampire wasn't going to be in my best interest.

I had a lot of fun playing this character and waited a VERY long time to become a vampire. So long that all anyone ever called me was trash and a silent pker. Well the unfortunate side to the rp I wanted to play was that it did, prior to being turned, make me look like purely a silent pker that was niche killing at level 30. Beyond that my opinion of the class/race combo is that it encourages a level of being a sneaky killer.

I had a lot of fun with learning how to adjust with this character and it was overall very entertaining rp'ing a vampire. I did however get a lot of the ooc comments after killing people which took away from it on a relatively consistent basis.

Anyways I have rambled plenty about this. Hope you all are having a blast and if ever I get some time to continue playing maybe I will come back and force myself into a more in your face killer character.

My god I hated this character, you attacked my various lvl 30 applicants so much while you were waiting to be vamped. I do believe I killed you with a ranger. I honestly hated the fact with how long it took you to be vamped because you were so active and really effective with pk. I felt the rp was their early on but then after you were vamped you dropped off the face of the earth. I remember seeing you on all the time, to every Tuesday during the surge to not at all. I do remember thinking to myself that you weren't very good, but clearly your record says differently. My goodness this char is 3 years old and I would guess you waited what 6 months or more to be vamped with a shit ton of hours through activity.

I would guess there was at least a year wait time for this vamp. How long was it?

I'm not sure on the timing, but this vamp applied right as we were altering a few things, which eventually became lvl.1 vamps for elite players. iirc, we weren't looking for apps at that time but rewarded his persistence.

Thanks Nyc. Yeah I think I did the math and I had waited like 10 months to be vamped. I was told along the way if I recall by many different people that vamps were not open. I didn't care too much about being told it wasn't possible. I had done pretty much everything else there was to do, played pretty much everything else there was to play but never a vamp. I will not lie, it is very difficult to play a vampire. The restrictions on time of day is one of the harder things to get used to.

Again I got so much ooc trash talk directly to me in game...I was shocked because I never really got that on any of my other chars besides when I first started playing back in the early 2000's. I was told how trashy I was all because I was HANDED one spell. Like I hadn't put 200+ hours of training into a lvl 30 dark-knight and waited 10 months. But seemingly everytime I just trashed someone and landed every maledictive spell on them I got some type of comment.

I will admit I was happy that so many people were chomping at the bit to help me rank from 30-50 since it had been so long since there was another vampire because that would have sucked to be stuck at like 45.

                1. Not impressed, you didn't get your pet to 30.

i didn't particularly like your silent approach (around the lvl 30 range) but i slapped you around anyways...

your record speaks for itself. well done.

I forget the whole background, but the silent aspect of Tivris was entirely rp'ing his history as a loud mouthed child who's blabbing got his family killed. So he took to as little speaking as possible before being turned.

@Rayor - that was my like 5th pet.

@xanthas - yeah at 30 I got to the point that I was in all 50 gear at one point and there were a couple race/class setups I had trouble with. Most of my deaths were at 30 to mobs/back and forth pk with some people.
                        [reply to Eloret]
                      1. I can attest that he did speak sometimes. He roleplayed with a few of my characters that interacted with him, IE we spoke after we fought, or we were on the same side short term so we spoke then... lol. Tivris was fun, sad I never got to fight him as Balan... Would have been fun to watch Summersong, and the divine power arrows chew you up :D

I think as far as silent pk'ing goes, you probably want to get notorious first, start silent pk'ing later. Kinda like Brock Lesnar. He made his name and now he doesn't need to talk for the fans to love him. Probably Uvet could just transition to silent pk'ing as well at this point. Never seems to go well when you start out like thtat... there's no connection or reputation to precede you and give the pk some build

Ah...You remember that 1 pally death now don't you? Euriah with the summon in the perfect spot.. One of his favorite kills, since you hardly ever died. Nice run, and patience, with Tivris. Hope you can come play more soon enough. Good luck.
